Well, most of us know what its like at the end of the month when we are short meds and its either shake and sweat or hit the streets, I myself dont care to do either, so I am always looking for withdrawl alternatives. It dosnt happen every month but when it does its a bitch! My question is about darvocet ,yes, I know they are weak!, but if a person was to taper of hydro and oxy towards the end of the month, and use the darvocets, would it be enough to stop the withdrawl until refill time? I ask because I have an abundance of them and wanted to know if they would at least help some,I am guessing that anything is better than full blown WD but If any one knows better, please enlighten me!They are large, white and stamped with 93-490Thanks PF2D

I have read in another forum that darvocets can actually make WD worse,If anyone knows any first hand truth to this I would really like to know why with an experienced explenation. Please help if you can,I just want to be sure because so far the darvs will be my only alternative if it comes to WD,but I will have to find something else(and I dont want to) if they are a waste of time and no help at all,Thanks for any help! pf2d

Anything to take the shakes down is good as in any pain pills. I also have just gotten so drunk I pass out. Janis Joplin would de tox from Smack that way.
The best though if you can get it is hash. Just keep smoking it till you drop and don't forget the pipe when your in the bath room throwing up your guts for hours and trying to figure out how to shit same time.
De Toxing and running out sucks for sure.
When you run out is when you think of all the ass clowns who just had to hit you up for your drugs over the month. I just don't share anymore unless a friend returns the rush.

For withdrawl, hit up ebay. If you are a recreational or medicinal user of opiates and you have not yet tried poppy pod tea, you are missing the biggest secret source of consistent relief.

Because of the legal loophole, it is incredibly easy to buy medium-large poppy pods over the internet, and so so so simple to grind them up, simmer over a medium heat for fifteen minutes, strain and enjoy. I feel the same amount of pain relief and the same high from one of my doses of poppy tea as I do from 50mg of oral morphine, which is probably because my tea contains about that amount!

I know it seems too good to be true, but seriously, it works. Try it, you'll be surprised. I am the first to admit that it took me almost 9 months of consistent use of opiates and the consequential withdrawls to try pod tea, and the effects FAR exceeded my expectation.

Check it out, but keep it quiet. We dont want the DEA finding out that we arent really buying 400 pods to make arts and crafts!

Wizard: Its funny you mention the ass clowns, oh yeah! They are excatlly why I dont share any more, ever! and Hash! OMG, I havnt seen any since I was taking a greyhound bus to Colorado back in like 81 or 82 when I had a 3 ounce chunk of black hash with me,I swear that lasted me about 5 months, and that was after I got everyone on the bus wasted! ahh, those were the days!
Verisimlitude: I have read some stuff about the teas with alot of mixed feelings about it,and I have been thinking about trying it but I think I need a bit more experience with actually making it, I would hate like hell to mix a batch thats too strong, I have read some horror stories, but still considering trying it,just some more research I guess! I only asked about the darvocets because I have access to several If I need them, hopefully I wont! Thank you both for the reply,it gives me some options to think about and thats what good information is all about! Peace! pf2d

Painfree, the darvocets WILL help with withdrawl, at least with the shakes/stomach problems. they wont help you sleep and they dont help with the anxiety/restlessness.

but they are certainly better than nothing.
