I have 3 coats. One is missing the buttons, but I wear it anyway for some strange reason. Another is a marshmallow coat that is IVORY and gets dirty if you look at it wrong. Its also too small now that I'm all kinds of fatness compared to a few years ago. Another one is my black wool coat that I love to pieces and only wear on special occasions. I look like fancy muthafuckin pickles in that bitch.
I have 5 winter coats. ) This year, I wear silver fox fur coat and hat (some people have seen), with black coat, and dachstein wool underneath. Coat:
i have a few. more than i need for sure. standard carhartt. some sort of fuzzy plaid green thing. a thick gray thing similar to what odon posted, except i think mine is thicker. 95% of the time though, i just wear my thermal lined hooded sweatshirt. it's really more of a fall/spring coat, but it's warm enough to run out to my car, and when i'm going to be out for an extended period i tend to just layer rather than wearing a bigger coat.
Seriously, mine isn't that thick, but it has hollow fibers and acrylon - the only jacket in the world that has. I've worn it on the back of a scooter in the pouring rain and I was till not cold (I won't lie, I wasn't warm).
For work, I wear my letter jacket from high school because it was free and I don't care if it gets mustard on it. lol. Everywhere else, I wear a black peacoat that makes me feel all fancy schmancy.
I know it's cold where you live, and perhaps most people where you live wear animals - but, I really can't bare to think of an animal being skinned and then worn - it makes me a bit queasy.

It just got cold enough for me to pull out my rabbit fur. I put it on when I wanna be fancy lol. Usually it's just an old leather one I've had since hs.
If I'm not really doing anything I have a Patagonia coat I wear the most. But I have a few canvas Carhartt type of jackets and a few leather coats Normally it doesn't get that cold here.
