Anyone who has doubts or questions about Ron Paul, click on any of these speeches and see why so many people are supporting him. I'm tired of people splitting hairs and saying "oh Ron Paul's ideas would make the rich even richer." One thing hippies are supposed to be united on is the idea of freedom, and PEACE!!! I really have half a mind to abandon the "hippie" movement altogether, because I THOUGHT we were united in at least these two issues. Still I see more support here for the war mongering CRIMINALS like Obama, then I do for the ONLY peace candidate who is namely; Ron Paul. So I dare anyone of you to pick out anyone of his speeches and tell me EXACTLY how his views would benefit the rich, because I am confident his fight is to rebuild the middle class of America, and restore the American dream. If you think all "politics are crooks" then don't even bother posting, I really don't want to hear nitt picking, I just want our freedom restored and Ron Paul is the best man for the job. http://www.ronpaul.com/category/ron-pauls-speeches/ on a side note; People here tend to think he's anti abortion. Ron Paul would NEVER take away anyones right to choice on ANYTHING. He believes people should have the right over their own bodies in every aspect, including ingesting drugs.
Again, he's a doctor who has delivered over 4000 babies. still He wont make abortion illegal, because that does more harm than good. And wtf? Don't you have your own politicians to worry about!? I don't tell you how to select your prime minister!!!
Just because hes from canada means hes not allowed to have an opinion on the next president of the US? A president who's decisions will affect the whole world....
Paul may be the better leader in some ways, but it doesn't really matter. He isn't going to get elected for, at least, several more years.
But primarily Americans and we're broke. I'm sick of talking to people who have this outside perspective of our country thinking they know what we need when they have no idea what kind of peril were in. IMO the whole world should be afraid if Romney or obama gets elected. But she doesn't see the oppressive laws happening in this country, just an outside perspective. And Obama "looks" good to the rest of the world but he's just another corrupt globalist. I do admit that was a little harsh. But even you for example, do you know about the NDAA, the NDRP or cispa? Obama isn't some great leader handing out healthcare and abortion clinics, he's a dictator undermining our civil liberties. And no I don't support romney either because with the president being allowed to KILL AMERICAN CITIZENS without trial, I want to be damn sure I trust whoever takes that office next!!!
You seem to want to cast the world into black and white, and the reality is that all of us exist in some type of grey area. Every leader is a tyrant in some way to some person.. That is not to say I don't totally disagree with some of the policies being accepted by the Obama administration..
It's one thing to disagree and have that right to disagree. I see America as a police state in which; we can't protest without being brutalized by police. They can murder us/ send us away forever without trial and, soon enough with cispa, skim through our Emails and texts messages. It's not a grey area my friend, this is the definition of a dictatorship. Laws like this have only been passed in the past by such people like Adolf Hitler. I wish I could turn a blind eye to these laws, but honestly, our freedom is gone. Guantanamo bay for everyone...
Oh and alot of Americans say "not in America" right? We have the "right" to peacefully assemble right? It's the very first amendment in our constitution, right?? WRONG!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCT5CVdd0z0
Perhaps you're being irrational. I always thought people in America would open their eyes when the government openly; Kills US citizens(against the constitution) Brutalizes protesters(against the constitution) Allows the US military to police the populace (against the constitution) Obama's just crossing out our amendments one by one, but that's okay, because for some reason we've allowed ourselves to blindly follow like sheep in a herd.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KTsXHXMkJA"]The Dead Kennedys - Holiday in Cambodia - YouTube is all I can say..
I know you weren't talking to me with the lyrics though. I never do what I'm told. I'm more like "Killing in the name"... "FUCK YOU I WONT DO WHAT YOU TELL ME!"
#1) I've done my own share of protesting. #2) I've been personally tossed around a bit by police. #3) You need to mellow out. #4) My eyes are wide open. #5) Ron Paul will not be elected in the next election, no matter what I personally do, in extreme likelihood. #6) You better watch who you label as sheep. #7) Not all things are as they seem. #8) Abortion rights are important to me.
Ron Paul! I'm young and very optimistic so its ok if i like Ron Paul. I think on the most logical set of terms ron paul won't be the winner this year but that's ok. We like to watch the show but never actually like direct action. If you feel so strongly about your opposition towards the tyranny that is the U.S government then i want some action to back it up. I'm heading to the G8 Summit in Maryland, will i see you there StpLSD25? Plus i agree even though paul won't win this year he has a far better chance in the next years. RON PAUL 2012!
Woah dude getting a little angry, are we? I never called you directly a sheep, actually I never called anyone a sheep. "we've allowed ourselves to blindly follow like sheep in a herd." That's a comparison my friend. lol what do you have against sheep anyway? No but seriously, I am mellowed out, maybe you just take me the wrong way?
Man, I'm sure gonna try but I need to wait for my friend to get out of the Navy. He's in acadamy right now to become a medic. He's supposed to be out by early may though so I'm hoping so. You're welcome to come see me in ATL if you're ever out this way though!!
I really wasn't bro. I was implying a vast majority of Americans. I don't know what you believe or who you are gonna vote for. But it's all good. My biggest concern are these wars, cause yes I am young. But I've already lost 2 friends in Iraq, one had stepped on a landmine. Now my best friend joined the navy and I just don't want to lose another friend to this phoney war on terror. I supported Obama in 2008, but he lied, and we're still in the shit Bush started 11 years ago. I mean, how much do we allow them to get away with?
