What is the point of warning a person if you intend to do them harm? I mean it seems far more effective to walk up and do what you feel you need to do not send out notices, invitations and such before you do anything.

Maybe that is why I dont believe in pulling a gun as a method to warn off a person. If your gonna pull it, pull the trigger too.

    Okay Im odd.

You're missing the entire point, threatening is a way of trying to force someone to change their behaviour.

Every animal does it. We threaten because we could also get hurt.

What if you hurt already, then it seems useless to worry about getting hurt.

I agree with YankNBurn. Threatening people is stupid and often cowardly behaviour. You either do it or you don't. What's the point of giving the person being threatened forewarning of your actions?! Not only will it put you at a disposition when this person gets an idea of 'what's coming', the element of surprise is far more effective.

Up until this year only feds could own this pistol. Full metal jacket ammo would rip through body armor but the ballistic tip (for general public) wont. Super fast round.

Why would you want to harm a person or an animal if there is a possibility of them backing down or relinquishing to your will?

The 5.7mm is a departure from conventional ammunition thinking. It uses a 31 gr. FMJ bullet at velocities of about 2,300 fps from the 9.5" barrel of the P-90. It is specifically designed to penetrate soft body armor up to level IIIA without the potential for excessive penetration that may exist with the more common .223 rifles.

A person would have had to confront me, if that happend then its not my issue to warn them they are stupid, it is my problem to be sure I come out of it with the least amount of physical harm to me.

As for animals, I have never had animals come out after me that were not going to do so to protect themselves, young or were hungry. I did not say get away or else, a simple movement and it was decided if they wished to live or die. Animals are not like humans, humans fuck with people because they just are shit heads, animals do it for survival.

I don't threat, and pity anybody that feels the need to.
I wouldn't think of harming a person if there is a possibility of them backing down, but if I'm offered out and they are determined then I'm not gonna stand there running my mouth with fucking threats, mate.
Don't know about you but I'd either get stuck in and see it through, or - if they back down, walk away. No two ways, how is idle chit chat about potential violence going to sort anything out?!

I seriously get bored listening to a person explain how they are gonna hit me, kick me, what hospital they are gonna put me it, how far they are gonna plant me in the ground and ect. I figure do it or go away. I have never really started a fight in my life but I have been in a few sadly. Now Im just too damn old with too many issues to deal with little bullshit like threats.

People threaten as a form of manipulation, in where making believe the other person that you'll do whatever you're gonna do, should get you the results you want.
People do it because they usually dont want to take said action, but still want the changes to happen.
It's like when Jack's being bad and I tell him at 9AM, ok, let's go to bed for him to stop acting that way, I dont want to actually take him into his bed, but it works.
I know this thread turned into a gun thing, but I dont like guns :)
