I drink to have a little bit of relaxation.

i do it for the socially akward moments. or because im sitting at home, eating icecream and feeling gross. according to the video, thats how it all starts. or i just might enjoy the taste and i like to drink an ice cold beer during a hot summer, and make an ass out of myself.

 

I drink because it makes me the kind of person I don't have the balls to be.

In a sense I see what you're saying. I've found that alcohol, though, out of all the other mind altering substances, makes me the worst me. :cheers2:

i was drinking a mini keg down on the beach with friends like last wednesday
and we ended up having a discussion of the universe, quantum physics and all matters of life
i probably could not have a conversation like that one ever again, unless i'm drunk

 

I have a hunch that I have some anxiety problems and sometimes that leaks into my social life. Drinking tends stimulate conversation for me.

Now, I'm not talking stumbling, puking, awful drunk. I'm talking a good buzz. To the point where you're seeing things a bit blurry and everything is funny.

 

That's why I like to drink. It does the same thing to me.

 

Thats what God made acid for.

ive actually cut back a bit...ill probably cut back even more soon...its fun though...

 

i drink sometimes because of my anxiety too. it helps calm my nerves. just a couple beers, and i can be able to relax and think more. i actually have the best ideas when im buzzed.
