None of my friends or myself do that... Up until you said that I was under the impression that that was a "The Man Show" stereotype. As to why? Its more than likely just instinct.
because most men like to look at pretty women hell, a lot of women like looking at pretty women too. things that are aesthetically pleasing get looked at, even if its aperson
I dont know.. Its never personally happened to me yet but I think that it is very disrespectful and if it did happen someone would get their a$$ kicked...unless of course hes only a friend .. then i guess hes allowed to
Its how men (and most women) are. Its natural. You'll get used to it. I'm guilty of staring at hot men in front of guys... meh
It is really horrible that this happens, but I often find myself fighting to not look. It is like trying not to eat when hungry or not to drink when thirsty. I would almost say that it is pure instinct.
i think most men do it. i think women are more attuned to the way it might make the man feel and so maybe fight it more. my boy didnt do it the first year we were together cos he must have been so infactuated with me. but then the eyes started wandering and i cant say it doesnt hurt a little since i got used to it being the other way.
Its not a big deal for some guys to have a perv. or They try to make the girl jealous, I've done this before so i can vouch for this as a possibility. or to fuck you off if you've done something they didn't like. or to let you know they dont like you in THAT way, if they're getting signs that you do like them. To be honest, theres lots of things it could be :/.
I'm not a honeybee, and I honestly take offense to that notion. Not all man play games. Not all look to make you jealous, or because they're interested in someone else. Men look because it is simply there. It's just how it is. If either a man or woman are looking at someone else, then that isn't always a sign of a relationship going stale. But becoming jealous could mean many things, and most of all, the fear of losing that person to someone else; This isn't necessarily good or bad; It all depends on the relationship. Also, like Raul said, there are many reasons why they look, other than simply curiosity, but they mostly involve playing games. I always stay away from people that play games. They aren't worth my time.
why would someone bother too look at a yellow rose when they have a red one in their hand? sure it may be rude if they are gawking and drooling all overthemselves but with most its not a game! its perfectly natural, try not looking at that yellow rose! not so easy is it?
if it looks like a honeybee, and buzzes like a honeybee, i'd be a fool not to expect it to fly like a honeybee...
I remember at prom, there was the gorgeous girl at the rester aunt and he kept looking at her and it really pissed me off. But the thing is, I do it too and he'd understand. We're human and I'm jealous. yuh
i actually try not looking at other guys but sometimes i do catch myself doing it but lately i've kind of stop caring to an extent. i know if he seen me looking at guys all the time he'd get upset.is it worth bringing up?
No you shouln't bring that up. Your going to turn him into a jealous madman. Just try to not get caught too much. If he says anything, tell him you like to people watch.
That's true if we're talking about honeybee's, but we aren't. Unfortunately, that analogy works when describing some men. On the other hand, this analogy, fortunately, doesn't apply to all men.
I dont believe it would be easy not to look at somebody that is attractive or to look for an attractive trait in somebody. Just becuase they may be pleasing to the eye does not mean the looker wishes to jump thier bones, its just pleasing to the eye.
