What elements of "Islamic culture" has America tried to change, that don't involve human rights abuses? I don't think we have any reason to be in the Middle East either, but to say that America cares in the slightest about "Islamic culture" is a bit naive.
America is by far the most powerful county in the world. Therefore, the problems that it causes are more severe than problems caused by other countries.
The US has fought several wars to liberate muslims from oppression from members of their own religion and from members of other religions. The people of Iraq were incapable or unwilling to liberate themselves, and now they are ungrateful. Maybe we should return Hussein and the rape rooms and chipper/shredders and chemical warfare on his own people. The US liberated the people of Kuwait from Hussein. The US liberated the Kosovar and Bosnian muslims from genocidal oppression. The US enabled the people of Afghanistan to resist soviet oppression. The US has been trying to create an independent palestinian state. To my knowledge, "jihad" is not one of the 5 pillars of islam. I guess it was in your madrassa, though.
The reason is because the US is the vehicle used by the globalists to usher in a world government. This is not speculation, it is fact. You have to understand that it isn't necessarily America itself, but those controlling America, which goes far beyond puppets like Bush and Cheney.

And hey, I checked out that "whatreallyhappened" site in your signature, and that actually seems pretty legitimate, with links to stories from the BBC and such that support what they are saying. I also noticed, however, no stories about an elite illuminati conspiracy. Those only seem to show up alongside stories that are clearly bullshit (like the shape-shifting lizards I keep bringing up).

I highly recommend you look into groups such as the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberg Group, and David Rockefeller's Trilateral Commission. Until you understand how these secretive organizations work, you will not understand how the US government is controlled by poweful elites working from behind the scenes. This is not bullshit. I don't know if they do (because I have no substantial proof). I certainly believe they have the technology to do so if they wanted, however, via such things as HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project). I can understand how just the notion of that might sound completely ridiculous based on the average person's conditioned reality. . . until you actually open your mind and research, instead of immediately shrugging off whatever sounds "impossible" or "ludicrous." Please, take some time to read about HAARP.
I assume you've done research on this to come to such a conclusion? I see full-fledged world government within 10-15 years MAX, if not before then. There are already large factions of the NWO coming into place; first with the EU, then with the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas), which will eventually become the the "United States of the Americas", as modeled after the EU. This is coming from official government documents and insider word-of-mouth. In the not-so-distant future, the US will merge with Canada and Mexico. This is a FACT and is totally part of the plan!

I brought up the weather control to try to trap you - the site with quotes you posted mentioned, among other things, that the global elite "controls the weather." I suppose it's not completely impossible, but honestly, I don't think either America nor a global elite will gain much by controlling the weather. And I doubt HAARP would give very accurate control over the weather anyway, if any at all. It seems to be more about communication and surveilance. It seems to me that if these global elite were really rich and powerful as you believe them to be, they wouldn't NEED the approval of the general population to enforce their single world government. The people could bitch and moan all they want, but what could they really do? Not a damn thing. So why the wait? Why do these elite, who supposedly have complete control over everything, have to put off their plans? Why have they cultivated a people who would so adamantly oppose their cause when they could, with the powers you claim they have, make the population worship them? These theories don't make sense. The fact is, HAARP is used to bombard the ionosphere with high-frequency radiowaves, and even scientists have said that can profoundly affect the weather and potentially be very dangerous. There is a cause for concern due to the secrecy behind this project alone. Well, in America we have something called the Constitution, which was designed to protect us from things such as the erosion of our national sovereignty and civil liberties. This is why the government needed 9/11 to scare the public into submission, so they could go forward full-force with their Orwellian police-state and destruction of our Constitution. Do you think most Americans would have accepted the Patriot Act if we weren't attacked on 9/11? Probably not.
