"No one in the world can ever be right or wrong, not man, not god (unlikely existing anyway...), not anyone can just say they are right no matter how black and whight, or good and evil things look. time for acceptance..."

I'm a litttle pressed for time but I do want to rate your statement. I don't know if it's the kind of response you're looking for or not but I'll tell you what I believe. Literally; I mean I'm not trying to be poetic or symbolic or anything.

Unfortunately it's necessary to make a distinction between what "is" (independent of being experienced) and "what is experienced" or "perceived".

It is impossible to know what really "is" apart from how it is experienced.
"Is" that object really red? "Is" that act really evil? These are impossible to answer.

On the other hand it is possible for something to be true, to know what something "is", as it is experienced. Another way of saying the same thing is that we can know something or something can be true for all intents and purposes. Or, more precisely, for variable degrees of intents and purposes.

For example, even though we do not know what "red" means in an absolute sense, a red traffic signal is red for most intents and purposes.

"I am hungry" is true for all intents and purposes.

What "is" and what is "true" generally are defined by intents and purposes.

But different people have different intents and purposes and so it differs among them what "is" and what is not "true". Everything is relative. Or at least relatively relative. But don't try to convince a fundamentalist religious person of this. Or don't try to convince me I'm not hungry when I want pizza.

So the bottom line is I agree with you except be aware that things can be true to various extents for various intents and purposes. Sometimes a little (something may be considered moral by half the population and immoral by the other half), sometimes alot (when I want pizza.)

Sorry to have given you a philosophic (in the sense of analytical) answer but that that's what I'm into.

I also want to say that I think hurting people is bad "almost no matter what."

Time for acceptance yes I agree. We need a lot more of that.

Oh and hey. Welcome, although I'm not here that frequently or regularly actually. Others maybe should be welcoming you.

What I'm wondering is if Woodstock is Woodstock NY or Bethel NY or "just a state of mind" something like "Woodstock Nation". I made what I call a pilgrimage to Bethel, NY (where Woodstock actually took place in August 1969). It meant a lot to me. That may have been the highest point American society and culture ever did or ever will reach. But let's hope there's even better to come. In America and everywhere.

oooh did you see the plaque.

and yes i did make up this idea i call it 'world thinking' as apposed to the 'my world'

ie: you could say that in MY world rap is shit, classic rock is the best, terrorists are wrong etc but in world thinking it cant be done

and thanks for a genuinly intelligent well thought answer as opposed to the angry threats i got eveyonewhere else!

The plaque, the plaque ... I don't see any plaque. I was going to ask you what you meant and then -- oh yeah THAT plaque! Of course I saw it, took a photo of it, along with my Woodstock Tribute album. At the corner of, what are the roads, Hurd and White Shore I think are their names. There weren't many trees around. There was one across the street near the corner that must have been there at the time. That tree had seen it all. I could have been there too I was 18 at the time if ...if... but... no it wasn't in the cards. Maybe next time around.

    Good luck.
