who owns chickens?

    when I was a child, my grandma smacked the chicken in the head with a broom. then told me to go fetch it for cleaning.. i dont own any now.. no.

    yeah, roosters are fucking vicious. i used to have to take a stick in with me to defend myself whenever i collected eggs.

    i don't really agree, although maybe it is true pound for pound. it's just that one cow poop is about the size of a whole chicken.

    or maybe i just got used to chicken smell because that's the only farm animal that we had pretty much all the time.

    my roosters dont fight each other and they dont bother me....i could feed both out of a gloved hand.....

    both are well over 2 feet tall with the wicked sharp talons

    they are free range and wander the 4 acres here...they will go maybe 100 yards from their coop

    my friend fed his chickens chicken one time....one time that i know of at least.

    my layers have definitely picked up and i'm expecting a pair of geese soon from a retiring farmer i know

    i could have had a baby goose friday but i figured one bird was enough for me. i can barely take care of myself some days.
    besides i would feel bad for the mommy if i took it from her

    My hens favorite food is cheerios and when she eats them sometimes the O gets stuck around her beak.
