Who is your favourate band?

Have you ever sat down and listen to your favourate band and their music just blows you away if so who was it

for me it's Guns N' Roses

 

Thats kind of hard. Its almost impossible to choose ONE band over others(at least for me), cause some of the bands I like are totally different than others. Pretty much all of the psych rock from the 60s and the stuff from the 70s blows me away, just because it has lasted so long and has made such an impact. Many bands from those eras could be considered my favorite.

Well, okay, mine is The Who (and they don't suck)

 

jimi hendrix blows me away... but my favorite band is modest mouse, and not because they're all of the sudden "popular" now ... i've been listening to them since they were on an independent label in the 90's. their first cd is simply amazing...

Steve Kimock is great live as long as the audience does not do a lot of talking. Great guitarist and musician though.

There is no possible way to have a favorite band, If you do, then it's temporary obsession.

 

I agree with you, sometimes you like a certain band it might be for years of for a couple days but you will have a different fav sooner or later.

I heard he chewed an audience out at a bar for not listening. Kind of a prima donna thing to do, but who cares? He's awesome anyway. And that Rodney Holmes. Holy shit! He is the God of the drums!

 

the artist of the moment for me is cat stevens. his greatest hits has been in my cd player for about a week and a half now. i love lady d'arbanville.

The Dead have being doing for me for the past month but have been listening to Sweet Smoke a lot lately but this could change according to my mood or what drugs I'm doing at the time
