the froggie girl who was always in the background and then not always there at all, who looked a little like joan biaz. i just loved the way she looked. i don't think they ever featured her, or if they did, one time, as i've heard rumers they might have, that would have to have been one of the times i missed it.

statler and waldorf, if i'm not mistaken, were the two old guys in the balcony at the end of each episode in one or two of the last seasons it was still in production.

they were, incidently, if you've ever seen a picture of the balintine brothers, of the publishing house of the same name, a pretty decent close resemblence of their appearance at the time.

i don't think i've ever seen the one episode i keep hearing about in which they were featured. i've always only seen them the giant mass orchestra scenes playing as like back up musicians from the local musician's local.

i have seen the publicity still of a smaller group with her in it, so i'm guessing that's the electric mayham band. but other then that one still, i've only seen her in occasional glimpses way in the background.

i think i may even have that image already kicking arround somewhere on my drive.

it's been, i don't even know how many years, must be at least 15, since i've even seen one of the old muppet show reruns. i know i haven't been turning on the tv hardly ever at all, whole months go by between my doing so, for the past five years, and i'm pretty sure it was at least a decade before that, any actual muppet show episodes were shown on any of the corporate networks locally.

They were muppets. Jim Henson made them, so they be muppets.

If I have to pick an actual muppet show puppet, I pick Gonzo.
