Who do you think is the all around best person? Martin Luther King jr Mohandas k Gandhi Mother Teresa Nelson Mandela :gossip: Decide and explain why.
Out of those four... Ghandi because he preached tolerating other religions, vegetarianism, introspective silence, and peace.
Paris Hilton? You're crazy, Rubin! hahahaha! All of them are great in their own ways. I can't think of one... I love them all!
I know everyone on the list is awesome, but I would identify most with Mother Theresa because I am a mother (five daughters), and I know what it takes to mother five children, and most of all take care of them when they are sick. Mother Theresa took care of the sickest people there are, those who are diseased and dying. I know how I have felt about taking care of sick people. It gets oppressive fast and it is hard not to be profoundly and adversely affected by others illness, and even harder to stay "high" while doing it..To go beyond her self to take care of others, and not be daunted by fear of contagious diseases, or to seek out a more comfortable environment than Calcutta, ranks her pretty high on the list of very impressive individuals. Three cheers for "Mothers" everywhere who love and care for others, they are all saints.
That would depend on your definition of greatest, and even of "best all around person". Depends on what qualities you admire. I'll go with Gandhi for me.
Oh man, they're all amazing people. Although once I did read some disturbing shit about Gandhi. I don't know about its verisimilitude, but it kind of turned me off.
Man, I hope you ain't wanting to have us pick from these four. Gandhi treated his kids like crap, and when he was old, he slept with young nekkid girls to "test" himself..haha MLKjr had extra-marital affairs. Mama Teresa was in it for the money. Mandela married a witch who had people killed. Watch this and enlighten yourselves: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4935138732025185923&q=bullshit+mother+teresa&hl=en My vote goes to John Lennon. "All we are saying...is give peace a chance!"
Wow, thanks for the new word. I went right to my dictionary, because I had never heard of the word before, (verisimilitude). You made it sound so everyday. It means that sometimes things written only have the appearance of truth or likelihood. You never know about things you read, but remember, we all have our shortcomings. Freewheeling Franklin pointed out all the negative things about these people (they were human after all ), yet I am sure the positive ones outweigh them, and indeed, these people all accomplished alot in their lives, and were definitely a part of the solution, and not so much part of the problems of their day.
ok....ok.....you guys can both be gay, but the gayest thing ive seen is that pic with the stick up the guy's butthole.........very disturbing, and not at all what i expected to see on a topic like this.....and im wondering about the splinters......
