my middle name was given to me because my mom loved that show "the facts of life"

 

When me and my brother were born all my relatives sent in name suggestions and they were picked out of that... so we may have been named after something, but I don't think so.

 

Aparently I'm named after one of my great grandmothers

 

My first name is after my grandfather on my mothers side and my middle is after my grandfather on my fathers side.

 

No, but I gave my sister her middle name, "Ariel", when I was 3.

I've come across some strange names- in our family most of the middle names are after other family members who hold a special place in their heart- my sister's is after my great grandmother and mine my great uncle for example.

both my names are after uncles but i named my daughter after the summer of ''who shot JR''....from the tv show dallas...turns out it was ''kristyn''...she was a beautiful actress so i named ny kid Kristyn...my 1year old grandson is ''basil'' after my grampa....my son..after my dad....

 

I am named after the little girl my parents wanted to adopt who was in foster care and in the Sunday School class they taught. Her name was Amanda Sue, she always wished it was Charlotte Leeann, so my parents named me Amanda Leeann.
