    Its not a person.

Its a spiritual sickness. A plague.

A dark age where spiritual qualities in people are pushed to the back of the bus leaving only cold calculation is it's place.

When these people get into positions of power, they mold society in their image.

Well let's remember that numbers are of teh human mind. We associate it (666)with one of our other concepts called evil. You can find a way to make any name equal 666. Why the fuck isn't it 777 or 222 or 186 or 397?

My candidate is Nero. Neither the Greeks, Hebrews, nor Romans used numbers. Instead, they used letters for numbers, and both the Greeks and the Hebrews developed transliteration systems for expressing names in codified form as alphabetical numerals, which the Greeks called isosephism and the Hebrews called gematria. The word Neron Caesar, codified and transliterated into Hebrew is 666. But the earliest surviving copy of the New Testament gives the number of the Beast as 616. The Latin for Nero Caesar, transliterated into Hebrew, is 616. Nero is the only name that can account for both transliterations. And the author of Revelations would have been familiar with the name Nero. Even though Nero was dead, rumors were still circulating that he was alive and ready to stage a comeback. He was certainly beastly enough, and you couldn't be more anti-Christian.

Throughout history, there have been lots of other candidates, usually kings or popes. Televangelist Jack Van Impe thinks it's Juan Carlos of Spain--for some complex, bizarre reason having to do with the Spanish royal's historical connection to the Holy Roman Empire. To me, speculation about what modern figure might be the antichrist is an example of religion as pathology.

It cures itself because it FORCES attention to problems that should have been dealth with in the beginning.

Pain is the best diplomat for that change.

The ultimate lesson is one about compassion and sharing, not power and control.

True. But few of them actually claimed to be 666, as did Crowley.

I'm actually not sure though that he meant it 100% seriously.

It's a myth to the point people believe it. Belief in numbers can be a powerful force in civilization. Look at the long history of violence associated with religion. Religion has no place in government.

Both Islam and Christianity have messiah figures that appear in the "end days". These people are endowed with divine powers and will slay the great evil.

The messiah of the Jews is an ordinary man of flesh and blood. A leader, but without the religious trappings. This is what the zionist movement is trying tp capitalize on. A secular world government headed by an elite group of zionist Jews. The Anti-Christ.

I say anti-christ because since this leadership is going to be secular/worldly, it will go in the opposite direction that spiritual people say it should go. It will be cold and calculating, as opposed to compassion and empathy.

It seeks order. It loves it. It will impose itself on all who don't comply with it's order.

You better fight it now or get used to taking those orders.

666? It's the number printed on a generic Prozac capsule, the very capsule some of the posters here need to take on a daily basis.:D

I doubt that he did, but he might have. That doesn't mean that he really was the Antichrist. Like so many self-styled Satanists, he liked to shock. Crowley was clearly messed up, probably from a severely repressed childhood as the son of a religious fanatic preacher.

His drug addiction is what did him in, not his perversity or occult practices.

He certainly stretched the limits of all three.

True but these people currently have a head. I for one think it's Rockafeller. And here is my reasoning the bible clearly says the mark and the man have the same name.

    Rocka Feller

    R F ID chip

    RF RF

That's about all the evidence I need.
