um...as a women i of course can cook...as should all women..i mean seriously these women and their careers is such nonsense...we belong in the kitchen, it's why we generally don't have as much hair...i suppose the hairy women can have careers...but honestly the hairier women need careers cause they're probably not gonna get a husband...

I have my moments, but I also have my failures, my strength is I am not afraid to waste food and money in the attempt to create an awesome dish/meal

I am a grand cook. My favorite method if cooking is first you pic up the phone, then you add a smidge of 934-0033, then you tell your assitant chef's what you want and then 30-45 minutes later you have an array of dishes like Pizza, Subs, Hot Wings, Regular Wings, Nachos, Salads, Cheesecake, and so on. :D

Me, and I'm not afraid to say it because I know it's a fact. Most of the women in my family will grudgingly admit that I'm a far better cook than they are, despite the years they have on me. ;) Cooking/baking is a passion of mine, I spend a lot of time doing it.

Just ask my husband, his buddies all drool over the things I make, and go home and tell their wives about how J's wife cooks all this great stuff. No wonder why the wives give me the cold shoulder. [IMG] J loves it, and can't resist the urge to report what I have made him that day for breakfast and what he has in his lunch to the people at his work.

Hey, I just love cooking. Especially gourmet. And I love taking recipes and making them healthier for you!

i dunno if i make the recipes healthier or not :) but i never ever make anything according to a recipe on the rare occasion i use one to guide me in a direction on something i haven't made before ....i luv experimenting,,, but that is also what keeps me from opening a small restaurant,,, nothing would ever be quite the same:)

specialization is for insects, thus quoth lasarus long. one of the more sensible things this hienline charicter is quoted as having said.

anyone who doesn't learn how to cook, reguardless of gender, at least a little bit, is expecting more of the rest of the world then is entirely reasonable to do so.

i like my own cooking. others have told me they like it as well.
and they weren't all in a possition of feeling like they had to be polite either.
so i'd hazard a guess i'm at least half way good at it.
actualy i've done back up and prep in restaurants too, as well as having done most of my own cooking most of my life.

and not out of cans and packages either.

so i think, immodest though it might be to so proclaim, that i qualify as a reasonably good cook.

    I love to cook.

At times I'm way too lazy or tired to cook...

But... man... when I get going, I can't stop!

i don't ALWAYS feel like doing anything fancy either. i must plead guilty to occasionaly opening a can or having a bowl of cereal.

but i do generally add a drop of lemon squeezins to the can when i cook it, and chocklet and coffee to the milk i put on dry cereal.

noodles are almost as easy as opening a can though, and they are pretty much the staple of my diet. along with whatever bits of dead critter happen to be in the fridge. and the occasional veggie chopped in. but there i go.

even when i'm not intending to do any big deal, half the time i end up making something pretty good anyway.

i'm an awesome cook. dave is, too, though. he loves to cook. so we take turns and then spend the evening raving about each other's meals. and i've yet to take any massive batch of food to a potluck or party and have any remain uneaten. and it's HEALTHY too. usually. sometimes sin is good for the soul.
