Namaste! I have a question for all of you. Which do u prefer? The City Life,(including plastic suburbia) or Really Rural Life- Nowheresville? I have a similar thread posted in the environmental section. I would like to know all of your opinions regarding this issue. Thank u all-
I don't know if I really love city live, but I like it more than a farm. Having said that, when I went to the U.K. last month, I spent quite a bit of time in the countryside, and I loved it.
I will probably eventually buy a home in the suburbs (renting now), but ultimately I would like to live in a semi-rural place. A suburb of the city, but one on the fringe where I can have a large parcel of land. I will then have privacy and my neighbours will be less likely to shit me.
I've lived in small cities that had to much traffic, drugs, and crime. There was a used car lot or fast food place around every corner. If I was rich I would rather have a farm or little homestead out in the boonies....need to be rich so I wouldn't even have to drive to the city every week.
I want to live in the not to to far out but where i have privacy and away from all the noise and chaos..like in the woods secluded but not to far out, ya know..
I lived in the country for most of my life, until a few years ago when I moved to Manhattan. It was truly an eye-opening experience for me because I got to see what its like to live in the city - especially NYC. It really is a different world. A world that I had enough of eventually, but I'm really grateful that I had the experience. I'm down with the country
I wouldn't want to be right in the middle of everything, but not too far away either... Mostly just some place with privacy and be surrounded by nature, but still easily accesible to anything I might want to do.
I love the city, my friend and I are going to be moving to New York in about a year. I can't wait to go back...cities are the best.
hardyharhar you can brush the ponies hair while i brush yours the only reason I couldnt do the city would be people, too many people oh, and the noise, so two things, and the chaoticness, (haha, dont think thats a word) of it all but thats cause i dont like noise
