I've always wanted to go everywhere and see everything, but the two that are usually on top are The Himalayas, being that they are the biggest mountains in the world (And to find the Abominable Snowman of course!) and Angkor Watt in Cambodia because the architecture in that temple always stood in a category on its own because of the uniqueness of its design. Oh, and Africa, Germany, Holland, Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Myanmar, Sumatra, Borneo, Samoa, New Zealand.......

I want to go to all the SE Asian countries I missed before. Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Burma. I want to see them before they get ruined & overdeveloped & stripped of natural resources (only a matter of time).

I'd like to visit northwest India which I missed last time. Rajastan, Jaipur, Udaipur, Dharamasala (see dali lama), Manali (sample local produce), Kashmir and Srinigar including Dal Lake.

I really want to visit Nepal, but the unrest there is getting worse.

I hope to return to Thailand to visit Krabi (never been there) and Koh Phi Phi to see how the reconstruction after the tsunami is going.

With any luck I'll get to visit a few of these places soon and I'll post up new photos.

i'd like to go a lot of places. most i wouldn't go because of political tensions and whatnot. some i want to desperately see before my life is up. some i'd just like to see sometime if i can.

i'd love to see iran, mostly because my uncle was born and raised there, now lives in exile here in the US. i would love to see what it's like there and get some idea of what he's coming from.

i'd also like to see northern africa and ethiopia.

various parts of india and nepal and the surrounding regions are of great interest to me, as well as much of eastern asia (particularly china, japan, and the southeastern countries)

i'd love to see belize, i've heard great things about it from my mother and sister.

some of the lesser known pacific islands would be great, and even some places like hawaii.

easter island would definitely be a trip.

i'd love to see england, scotland, ireland, spain, germany, scandanavia, greece and italy.

there are some parts of the middle east i'd love to go to.

brazil, peru and chile sound great.

i'd also love to go back to seattle, or even just to ontario or BC. i've also never seen much of the american southwest, and would love a chance to get out and experience the desert.

i'd like to see latvia if i could visit a friend of mine once she moves back there.

I'd love to go to Ireland again. The last time I went, I was too little to really remember much. And I'd also love to see Australia, New Zealand, Egypt and India. Especially India. :) I can't really explain why, though... It's just a personal longing.

I agree, visit any South East Asian countries now. It is changing fast there and I already feel I visited those countries too late. Vietnam is already amost gone so to speak. It is turning into a second Thailand, which, in my opinion, is not a good thing.

As for places I would like to go:
Southern India, as I only visited the middle and Northern parts before and India is just the most beautiful country on Earth (or at least from the countries I visited).
    Pakistan.
    Iran.
    Komodo.

Might visit some of them in this trip though. :D

Ofcourse there are much more places I would like to go, but I thought I keep my list short for now.

Southern India is great. I spend a few months there in the 1980s. Never got north of Bombay, as I enjoy the south so much! Definitely hit Kerala and Cochin. Trivandrum was nice too, near the south point, which is worth a visit to the Gandhi shrine there. And of course there's always Goa! Ajuna market is a must. There's a huge ad campaign here in Australia for ppl to visit India and Goa (Go Goa!). So I imagine they're more setup for tourism than when I was there in the 1980s. Oh BTW, Kerala state in India is usually run by Communists, and there is much less poverty there. I picked up lots of anti-US books there in the 1980s that you'd never see in the US (books on the CIA, American imperialism, etc.) I read a whole lotta shit I didn't know about before.

As far as Asia goes, can't wait to get back! :)

I have been to Goa before and I think Palolem beach is one of the most beautiful ones. Actually, a little beach near Palolem called Patnem. That one is still not overdeveloped. Other than that, I do not think you can compare Goa in the 80's to the Goa of the 21th century. Tourism is big big business and in a way Goa does not even feel like it is part of India.

Goa and Hampi are the most southern parts of India I visited though and I would love to visit Kerala and go all the way down to Sri Lanka.
Although I never been to Kashmir and the northeastern states, which I also would love to explore.
So much plans, so little time (and money).

    And yes, Asia rocks!

I would love to go to India too, especially Goa (yeah it's sad I love PsyTrance, wanna see the real scene yadda yadda)
Bhutan is another place I would love to see but it's really expensive for foreigners to stay there. (which is really good dont get me wrong, I'm just poor by Aussie standards)
Slovenia looks amazing, and my partner is half Slovenian.
I was born in Sweden so would like to go back there.
Love to see parts of Central and South Africa
I want to spend some time in North America's deserts
Elephant rides and mushroom milkshakes in Thailand.
Awww I could go on. If Only.... sigh

Hhhm, one day when I have lots of money (haha) I would really love to take some time off and just travel around the world. Nothing smart, just my backpack and the locals.

I would love to visit Ireland...maybe even live there for a while. India is amazing and I would love to visit it too...will have to take empty suitcases so I can bring back lots of stunning sari's and bangles! I would like to go to Germany for longer, was there for only a short while...go visit family and get to know them better. Italy, France, Greece and Switzerland (again, I loved it there). I'm studying classics (ancient history) so going to Europe and walking between the ancient Greek and Roman structures would be heaven! Not to mention all the sacred stone circles and mounds in the UK and Ireland!

What's up Nesta, I've seen you around here quite a bit, I didn't know you were into traveling and stuff. If you're ever looking for a travel bud you ought to let me know. Once my plane sells, I'd really like to start hitchhiking around the country and maybe more. I know these two really cool people named Kinga & Chopin. If you google their names and also type hitchhike, it'll probably take you to their site. I bought their book and the route map on the back page blows me away. They seriously lived off the land for like 2 months when they were around California, and their average expense everyday throughout the entire trip around the world over the five years was 5 bucks a day. Fuck, it's cheaper to travel than to try to save up sitting around some town. Anybody who reads this though, I'd love to be able to hitch to someone and take off with them, even though being by myself would be cool, I think that only lasts for so long.
    Peace
