    depends what you consider big time I guess, I stayed on tour from summer 96 to fall 99 then I was out of commission till 2003, jumped back on for the Summer 04 tour..........things had changed drastically by then.

    I always thought that it added charm...like your triple commas!
    lemme go have a look see at the sticky: titles I have to move out of subforum and move back....

    Just as a general region comment, Ark is gorgeous on the western side for sure (love the old 71 B from 40 to Fayetteville)
    Texas cops can have far too much attitude (served my public school years there)

    Big time is when they started doing venues larger than bars...we know some folks who ran with Phish in the early 90's



    Ah but back to the topic: All I can say is that it will be interesting to see where we wind up this year...
