where have your dreads been stuck/caught

a young lad with new dreads asking me a few questions about dreads said have you ever got your dreads caught in anything over the years i could list a couple at the time and thinking it over there has actually been many an occasion haha

car windows - when wound up usuall dont notice till i have to look both ways at intersection

VELCRO - fucking **** of an invention

tree branches and spiky plants

cordless drill - ouch almost ripped 2 dreads out of my skull as it wrapped up completly requred assistance to remove alwas tie up hairs when near spinn objects

chicken mesh can be nasty stuff

between 2 bits of wood nailed together resulted in a half dread

kittens claws and teeth whilst sleeping great way to wake up early morning

etc etc

 

Iv'e Only Had One Bad Experience

And That Was On A Ride On Mower, Went Under A Low Branch And It

Nearly Took Me Off The Back Of The Mower, Fortunatly It Was

Automatic And I Thought Quickly And Slammed It Straight Into Reverse.....

Had To Break The Branch Off And Carefully Remove It Whilst Looking

In A Mirror.

I Can't Believe Two Or Three Dreads Would Have The Strength To Move

A Man, And It Hurt Like Hell....

Nowdays Everything I Do In The Garden Or Workshop Requires A Beanie....

fucking VELCRO! i hear ya! i was on a field trip once, taking off my rain coat, got stuck. prof thought something major had happened with the way i reacted hahaha

i have one of those pull up bars in a doorway and it has the velcro straps on it.. walking under that bitch snagged me one time and brought me to a stop.

I keep leaving my sunglasses in my hair and then forgetting then taking off my hoodie and everything getting caught up together, hurts like a bitch, happens two or three times a week

 

i hate velccro so much now

 

Just the usual.

Branches, sunglasses, ice cream, velcro.

The worst is sitting in a chair, slightly slouched and all comfy. Then something interesting happens so you try and lean forward to see but your hairs stuck in between your back and the chair. Shit happens to me like 20 times a day.


And fuck velcro.

Hahaha yeah I've had that happen when I've just been rolling around on the floor like an idiot, go to get up and I fall back down because my knee is on them or something.

 

all the typical stuff. Velcro is shit.

but the worst is the stupid nose rest thingies on my glasses, when they get pushed up onto the undreaded root part right near my scalp.

haha! done that. or been lying on the floor playing with my niece & nephew, and my dad will stand on them

 

Nose rings, ear rings, and branches brambles and trees.

Oh and velcro on coats... so painful xD
