Where has everyone gone?

I know this sounds really horrible, and, I'm sorry but....what has happened to hipforums? Where is all of the original people? Where have they gone? Am I missing something? Sorry, but, it seems to me that there are A LOT of newbies on here and filling these up with really random, frivilous things....? I don't even come on here as much anymore because it's not as interesting...and the good people are all gone! Where is everyone?!

 

The newbies fucking suck. Most of them anyway....they made all the cool people lose interest with their fuckedupness. So now I just mostly flame them. Damn newbies and their stupid threads.

man, i've been here for years, but i rarely post... i usually just read, and lately i've been coming to the forums less and less because there is nothing to read. nothing important, intellectual, worthwhile, etc... and so i post even less as well. maybe everyone is hiding somewhere else... the forum of the intellectuals where only certain people are allowed...

 

I think i mightve had something to do with the intellectuallness going away.....

yeah i totally know what you mean....all the threads here just bore me...the people that used to post when i first started i barely see anymore..i miss em...the newbies are boring...and well many remind me of teenieboppers

I barely come here either because it was once with hippies with things to say and reminisce about woodstock and whatnot and now its with newbies spewing their shallow superficialities all over the place. Eck.

 

I feel as if it doesn't really matter much anymore... this place will never be the same... who said it wasn't a good thing... maybe I'm being overly optimistic. Either way... better than nothing at all.

 

Lets not forget the self-proclaimed wannabe hippies with their shitty ass poems and song lyrics that they feel the need to post.

 

I hate the tag hippie anyway. right off it brings the stigma that we're long haired losers, or cult followers of Manson or some shit. I'm just me, but I hate those people who post lyrics to CSNY or some shit and call themselves hippies.

You don't have to be a "hippy" to listen to CSNY. Actually, I think Neil doesn't go well with them. He's in his own world.

Im gonna leave this place either way. As someone stated previously, this place has changed a lot. It went from a great place for people to talk abot the past and shit to this shallow place with just dumb threads.


I coast through the list of threads everyday and they're all so ridiculous. I'm just disillusioned. I'm going to take a break from here and find some people I can connect with.
