    Hello,

the other day I replied in a thread which seems to be disappeared as a whole now. I can't even find it in 'Your posts', isn't that funny. So where do retired threads go? Do they get recycled to get material for new threads?

EDIT: Even more funny the thread is still available from the lastest postings box down on the left side of the page, but the postings I refer to are missing.

    Regards
    Gyro

Into the abyss that is beyond page 10.

It is also possible the thread in question was deleted.

Maybe they go to a fluffy thread heaven in the clouds, totally free of trolls and full of informative and polite debate.

They go to Pakistan where they go into hiding. Eventually Skip gets a bunch of guys to go get them in the night and fly them out to the middle of the ocean where they're dumped without any explanation.

And that's that. No more questions!!!

    Hello,

I'm quite sure that such a sphere must exist.

I know a way to make the thread remnants to money in an artistic and entertaining way. But I won't tell anybody about it ;).

    Regards

    Hi,

thanks for investigating. I know, the thread smells funny. But anyways, I (or the guy who posted first) wasn't aware that there is a rule that prohibits the reawakening of the dead. I surmised that the vanishing of the posts might have something to do with the 'issues' associated with the op.

    Regards
    Gyro

pulling up old threads that have no value is generally frowned upon

    it depends on the mood

it was bumped by a spammer..so when people reply to a spammer and the spam post gets deleted it looks kind of stupid so we usually just delete it all

unless something of value was added to the subject of the thread

when you have your own site you can decide what stays and what doesnt ;)

it wasnt me who deleted anything by the way..or maybe I did..i dont feel like checking
