When will women understand.?

When will women understand that when a man gets a ''cold'' virus it is a million times worse compared to a females cold symptoms. Us men suffer bad with a cold let alone a flu virus but females have no comprehension or understanding that we men when we have a cold is nasty stuff. All we want is to be pampered with a soft and gentle stroke of our forehead and to be made a fuss of as our cold a worse than females.
Don't you think.? I'm convinced.!

Men have worse colds than women. Its because our noses are bigger, all the better for being stuck in where they aren't wanted.

 

Really, I've always thought women had far worse colds.

Is that a cultural thing? Most women i know tend to be far more wussy and whiny than men, because its generally accepted as the norm.

 

ahaahaha! cute. dave is such a baby when he's sick. but he tries to "man up" and work really hard anyway, just to prove he can. and i gotta say, he's so pissed off at being sick that he gets a helluva lot done. me, my feelings get so hurt when i'm sick that i look like i'm on the verge of death. i don't complain or whine. i'm just pitiful and deathly looking. i'm not sick often, thank god. but you can always tell i'm feeling better when my toes start to wiggle again.

Like, back when I was a girl I had colds and I was all pfft this aint bad, and then I turned into a boy and I got a cold and I was like WOAAHHH this is dreadful! I can vouch for this. It's much MUCH worse for a boy.

Your cold isn't in your nose, or your brain. It is a virus, which effects the entire body, usually mucous producing glands (which are behind the nose, not in it) the throat and teh respiratory system.

Brain has nothing to do with it.

My dh is NOT a baby when he is sick or hurt. He was in the ER a few years ago,and the nurse was amazed that "he is a tough guy, most of the big, tattooed guys are the biggest babies, but he doesn't like to be babied." He likes to be left alone when he isn't feeling well. I am glad he is an adult in this respect.

 

dave is so determined to be manly about he whole thing that he's a totally cranky pain in the ass. he won't just lay down and get over it. no, not him. but i gotta tell ya, he's impossible to deal with.

 

i'll feed soup and cuddle with any sick or healthy person =).
