Both my parents are Zambian born and Rhodesian raised Three of my Grandparents are south african born one is English Yadi yah south african all the way back to 1820 and 1860 (depending on family line...different settlers) uh one Dutch great great grandmother and one Australian great great grandfather...oh and the Indian colonials Prior to colonialism Scottish and English.... Heritage is awesome
i'll say mainly cape verdian but if you were to stretch out the possibilities....i have family in holland.spain and portugal tada! and who knows where else
originally, eastern european jewish...then my dads side moved from Ukraine/Lithuania/Russia to to south africa and my grandparents were born there. Then they moved to northern ireland, where my dad was born, and then he moved to canada, and i was born here. My moms side came right from eastern europe (Poland) to Canada. So I guess Ukraine/Lithuania/Russia/Poland > (yes, i'm doing the grateful dead transition things) S. Africa > N. Ireland > Canada
Two things - first of all, it commodifies water, and as citizens we do not want to sell our water supply. Because once we start selling water to the US, we can't stop under NAFTA. Secondly, it discourages investment in municipal water supplies.
