Whats your favourite Whiskey

I have a few I drink often, It's either Isle of Jura, Glenlivet or Glayvar
what does everyone else drink ???

 

Black Velvet and Jack Daniel's I don't drink very often but when I drink I always drink to much, not good.

I like SoCo. I don't think it actually whiskey, but it tastes like whiskey, so it's close enough.

As for actual whiskey, I like Canadian Mist, for some reason. It tastes like almonds.

To be honest you people know the square root of fuck all about Whisky if you think JD is anywhere near the best. There are so many Whiskies which are infinitely better. Glenfiddich, Tullamore Dew, Bushmills, Jameson etc etc etc And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

i dropped a bottle of whiskey and broke it yesterday at work. smelled good but was all thick and syrupy looking on the floor

My all time fave is Lagavulin 12 year old single malt. Quite pricey but at 58% proof you dont need much. Then again there is always one for the road!!!

Whisky gets lumped under the umbrella too much. I LOVE bourbon, but can't stand scotch and only have a mild interest in rye or irish whiskies. There are great differences between all the styles.

By the way - Jack Daniels isn't bourbon - its not distilled in Kentucky

My favorites are Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek, Makers Mark and Wild Turkey
