cheese ? http://englishculture.allinfoabout.com/features/cheese.html I used to like Double Gloucester or Leicester, but upon further contemplation I wonder if I really liked them or if I just enjoyed telling people that they were mispronouncing their names. http://www.gourmetfoodstore.com/cheese/english-cheese.asp One thing for certain, however... I could live the rest of my life without seeing, smelling or tasting Stilton Royal Blue. http://www.butlerscheeses.co.uk/content/2/5/ I was given some a long time ago and the best I could do was cut it up into pieces the size of my pinky nail and put it into an omelette. It still smelled like feet to my sense.
swiss, gouda, cheddar, and brie. Swiss is best on sandwiches, gouda's a good snack (like those little rounds of cheese you can get to nibble on), cheddar for sandwiches or melting on triscuits/nachos/etc. and brie warmed up a little with crackers and sundried tomatoes, if I'm feeling fancy shmancy
I will eat any cheese as long as it is melted on something or in dip form. I rarely eat cheese all by itself. There have been a few times I expected the tidy bowl man to put a hit out on me.
monterrey jack with jalapeno, or pepper jack if you prefer. Provolone and swiss are pretty good, and who can forget my man cheddar? Cheese is pretty punk rock.
head cheese "Head cheese, also called souse and brawn, is a jellied loaf or sausage. Originally it was made entirely from the meaty parts of the head of a pig or calf, but now can include edible parts of the feet, tongue, and heart. The head is cleaned and simmered until the meat falls from the bones, and the liquid is a concentrated gelatinous broth. Strained, the meat is removed from the head, chopped, seasoned and returned to the broth and the whole placed in a mold and chilled until set, so it can be sliced." actually i hate it but yea.
Caprice Des Dieux and Brie. The first is impossible to find here in the U.S I feel like shit about it It's so white and creamy, very fresh... I don't like stinky cheese at all.
http://shop.zabars.com/on/demandware.store/WFS/Zabar-ZabarStorefront-Site/ Well, girl, I was ready to laugh in your face, but I apologize in advance. Only place I found it was http://www.pasqualebros.com/cheese%20list.htm which seems to be in Canada. Guess there are good reasons to go to France after all
hmmm i was at a wedding the other day and i disgraced myself by stealing the entire cheeseboard. there were a few tasty pieces of brie but other than that the scale of my crime meant that i had to dispose of the evidence quickly, in this case i gave it to some nurses passing by :& . in general though id opt for a soft cheese probably marscapone, i love to make cheesecake with it
