cedar smells wonderful i like good pipe and cigar tobacco smell burning sage boiling water, malt and hops freshly laid mulch faint aroma of skunk....like if theres skunk roadkill it smells nasty close to it, but if its from a decent distance i kinda like the smell. same with pig farms...from a DECENT distance! i DO actually like the smell of a horse barn, though. the manure isnt that bad, and theres the hay, the fresh air coming in....its kinda nice, refreshing, earthy in a way
our basement smells like a library. i go down there sometimes to just sniff it. there's a store in old town that has that same WONDERFUL musty smell and whenever i walk in i just take a deep whiff. it's the most soothing smell ever. and i miss the smell of leaded gas at gas stations.
...It's not that weird, but I'm like..addicted to scented laundry detergent, it smells sooo good I probably spend like..five minutes just standing there inhaling it everytime i set foot in that room. lol i use extra just hoping that my clothes might smell faintly of it. oh I also like the new leotard smell and the way clothes from hot topic smell when you first buy them.
From time to time I will run into somthing odd that smells like a line of cocaine, I wish I could remember exactly what but its a few odd things, one is grinding one type of metal puts that smell in the air. Then days are long past.
ahahahahaha!!! at the post office in farmington, every time i parked there and had to go inside, i SWEAR it smelled like coke. it would give me the ickiest feeling, since i used the hell out of it years ago. i lost interest and everything went to hell, ulitimately good for me, but still, every time i smelled that place i'd feel like i had the flu. and matt, stationery smells SO GOOD. fresh ink, too.
Everytime I get that smell its like "I wish I could I wish I could" I was never really into it but the few times were drawn out and years ago. And as much as life sucks at times id rather I die of somthing other then a blown heart.
oh yeah, libraries DO smell good...and old music shops, and lots and lots of newspapers...i used to deliver them, and all those newspapers along with the smell of the dew and everything in the real early hours (3oclock or so) was really nice,..it was actually a really fun job
OH! and the past couple days, whenever i walk outside it SMELL LIKE AUTUMN. and the smell of rain on blacktop and pavement.
