Occasionally, about every few days or so, i'll be sitting here and i'll start feeling really weak, and tired, and i get all shaky and feel extremely light headed and dizzy. It almost makes me feel nauseous. I'm not sure whats causing this, but its very annoying. Its the same sort of feeling i get when i'm really hungry or don't eat for a while, but that can't be the cause every time because it happens just an hour or so after having a meal sometimes...

this also happens after working out, running, or exercise most of the time

Diabetes also somewhat runs in my family, my grandpa has it, but i'm unsure if these are even symptoms of diabetes, i'm hoping not, plus i'm only 17... so i don't know

^Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Well you could eat some grass, or chew on some tree bark, I guess.

Or, you could maybe.. Go To The Doctor! :)

IDK why, but my first thought was diabetes, before I even saw it at the end of your post as I was reading it. And I know very little (if not nothing) about diabetes.

    Doctor!.....

I'm thinking blood sugar imbalance of some sort. Not something you want to mess with.

yes they are symptoms of diabetes....the are also symptoms of about 300 kinds of cancer and about 50 blood diseases as well as at least 100 types of poisoning

    but i'm sure its nothing

Signs of diabetes include peeing excessively, being thirsty all the time, and increased appetite. Does your grandfather have type 1 or type 2? Unless you're overweight, I wouldn't worry about type 2 at your age.

It does seem to be a blood sugar thing, but you'll have to go to a doctor to find out. And maybe not exercise until you find out what it is...If it is your blood sugar, the exercise will lower it even more.

I don't actually believe in "natural remedies" for the most part anyways, i didn't read the forum description haha

And yes i'm not over weight, infact i'm probably a little underweight

and low blood sugar? I do eat quite a bit of sugary stuff, would that make it high blood sugar?

but this has happened for years now probably, i remember being littler playing outside and stuff, and after running around for a while i'd start feeling all shaky and weak, i assumed it was normal

i also get the same feeling when taking really hot showers or being in a hot tub, dunno if everyone gets that though

    DOCTOR! :)

If you don't have insurance, at least try to find a free clinic. Something doesn't sound right, IMHO.

I[we] can go to the emerg at our local hospital for anything..all i have to say is that i do not have a family doctor...they will draw blood and tell me if i am gonna die

everyone knows a diabetic dude....have your finger pricked and test your own blood sugar levels through out the day....if it is abnormal?...you find a real doctor...you can test the dextrose levels of cocaine with those things...they are very accurate

i actually live in Canada, so its free :D

But its a hassle, cause then i'm gunna have to tell my mom, and she never really listens to me and thinks i'm just "over exaggerating" and i don't tell her many things, so its just awkward... going up to her like "hey... i feel shaky sometimes... can i go to a doctor?" hahaa
