and what about it was so strange? today my sister just came home from england for christmas break (she's studying abroad for the year at the university of kent in canterbury) and she brought back a whole bunch of candy you dont get here. got a variety bag of treats....which included something she says she didnt like at all... so i tried them. they're called parma violets, and they're one of the wierdest things i've ever eaten. for people familiar with smarties, they are pretty much the same thing in terms of shape and texture and sweetness..... but they are all a light purple color, and are flavored (i guess) like violet or something seriously they taste like old lady perfume smells. one of the wierdest candies i've ever eaten, i think. how about you?
it's not really weird probably to everyone else.. but i haven't ate too many weird candies. it's those balls of chocolate that when you smack against a hard surface and then open it up they come out as little slices that taste like orange or raspberry.. they are really good, but kinda weird
Some THC hard candies my hippie neighbor made. They tasted like kitty litter and didn't work so well.
I love how the wax feels between my teeth!! But I thought that we weren't supposed to chew on them or something. I haven't had those in forever!
its probably not good to chew on the wax haha but i like making teeth imprints in them remember those things, i forget what they're called but its like sweet powder candy with that white stick that you can eat with it? i love those
either fun dip or i was thinking of pixie stix or something like that. i always liked them things. i cant really think of any strange candies that ive eaten maybe some maple syrup hard candy that my friends parents made.
aw fun dip was the bomb and they always came with an extra white stick and i would eat that one, and then eat the powder with the other one. the white sticks were better than the powder
i didnt even read the part about the white sticks. when i read candy powder i just thought of pixie stix for some reason LOL. i dunno the white stick just goes pretty good with dipping in powder. i still do think that i to like the white stick better then the power though.
i'd rather save my money and just mix koolaid with sugar instead of buying powdered candy.... which reminds me of when i was little and still lived in fort wayne, and some of the kids from...less financially fortunate families than mine (and we weren't even that well off at all) would come to school with plain koolaid powder in a zipper bag, not even sugar added to it, and they'd eat it like candy, like for dessert after lunch....
I've eaten a lot of weird ass Mexican candy that I truly don't even want to know what it's made of. Some of it tasted like shit. Literally...shit... had to spit those out. Plus, there are always the chocolate covered grasshoppers and stuff like that. I'm sure that people who have been to Asia have eaten even weirder candy. I can also eat licorice candy, which is pretty hardcore.
