I've never told someone who I am when I've handed out a bad rep... which has happened all of four times. I don't want them bad-repping me just because their comment was uncalled for. It's only been some really extreme situations that I've bad-repped.... not just joking around, out and out awful comments.

Because people get all pissy when they cant discredit you in a debate so they strike out with a little rep tantrum. But they tend to be pussy ass bitches and wont tell you who they are so you wont be able to respond.

When I just got here, I didn't know it didn't show your name. After all, everything else shows your name... you don't have to sign every post, you don't have to sign every PM... it doesn't say anywhere that rep does *not* show who it's from, so until you've received the first of your own, or read a thread about it, it's not that unreasonable to assume it works just like a PM or whatever.
