ive never noticed a difference between the two, 80mgs of oxycodone is 80mgs of oxycodone right ?
and i would guess the same for other chems as well

    am i correct ?
    any thoughts/comments/opinions ?

I'm not that experienced with oxy cause we don't get it in the UK that much - ordinarily, you'd expect them to be the same (although precise dosage measurements do tend to be less accurate with cheaper generics - so a 10mg pill might actually contain anywhere from 6-14mg of active ingredient, while branded pills would be like 8.5 - 11.5 or something) but apparently with oxy the actual time-release systems and the binders in the pill can vary, resulting in some gash unsnortable products (like these TEVA brand oxys that gel up when crushed?)

Correct me if I'm wrong people!

    that seems to make sense

i never even thought that there isnt the exact ammount of chem in each pill
but it does make sense lol how would they regulate it efficiently ?

Yup - companies will have targets, and the better the company, the better they'll stick to targets, and the more expensive the pills will be. I guess they don't actually release this kinda info for obvious reasons. But if you have a bunch of 40mg oxys, it's not likely that every one contains exactly 40 mgs of oxycodone!

but i guess in reality it doesnt really matter
you wont notice the difference of 3mgs usually

An OC80 vs. an OC80 generic is sooo different. The generics cake up and are just totally crap. If you had them side by side you would see/tell the differences.

    some generic's aren't bad.
The Watson Oxycontin's with the "ABG" on them I like just as much as the Purdue's

I think the main difference is the price. Pharmaceutical companies who develop a drug want to get the most profit possible before other companies are allowed to produce cheaper generics.

except for the geling up part, which I found a way around by 'shaving' the gel off the pill, the generic were almost identical to the brandname. I had a bottle of generic Malinkrodt 80s, and they worked pretty good once to you used to them.

The gel part was a bitch sometimes, and thus it would be a little harder to prepare, but high-wise, it did it's job perfectly. and not to mention the price was nearly half!

But other than that of course nothing compares to a purdue 80.
