Whats the deal with String Cheese Incident

Did they split up or something because they have no events planned

 

umm - yea they did - this past summer was their last tour. Billy wanted to leave the band to do other things and go in different directions. Its very possible that they will be back, possibly with Billy or more possibly without him. - Sorry to break the "news".

 

Emmitt Nershi Band is where it's at now.

 

while I'd love to see emmitt nershi turn permanent, I doubt it will. Hopefully we'll see a full on resurgence of Leftover leaving drew very busy and well billy will be focused on honky tonk homeslice with that lovely wife of his.

 

Well I'm certainly in favor of that plan.

I think the Emmitt Nershi thing eill come down to how good the songwriting is / was between Sep of this year and early next year. If the writing is there they could expand the band into a full blown electric slamgrass version of Leftover cheese. That would be cool too.
