It's Friday and looking forward to a 4 day holiday weekend! Merry Christmas to all!

 

Long story but I think my son and daughter-in-law are ruining Christmas for me.

I wish they understood that for me, they, their family, my daughter and grandson are this:

 

As it turns out, I'm really upset.

I reached out to my daughter and she is going to try to fix things with whatever is wrong with my son and his wife.

I really hope you get it worked out. Family strife is such a bummer.

 

I'm going to do as my daughter suggested - get out of my head and not over-think it.

 

Have "Your Christmas" mate ! dont try to live everyone's life its a thankless job honestly

 

I'm trying very hard to do that today.

Do you have any special plans for the Solstice? Do you have a Yule Log celebration or anything?

 

I just look for Idiots to get drunk with mate (after Santa has been its grandad time )

What I would do.. whenever I feel I am about to fail at it.. read the sign that you say is how you feel about them, and remember that that's why you're doing it, because love is unconditional.

Really damn hard when you feel like it's not being appreciated though!

 

Maybe my son's wife will feel good today since her 4 day weekend is beginning.

 

Vacation is officially happening!

 

Maybe morning drinks weren't the best idea because it's now late evening and I haven't really recovered.

It was either food poisoning because I just felt so bad as the day wore on if felt like everything was sitting above my tummy then I got a huge tummy ache so I went to the toilet and then I just was sick a couple of times and then I managed to get some sleep.

I dont know if something didn't agree with me or I just went too hard in the morning or what happened. But I feel average now.

Ah well, guess I'll get up and get a coffee into me and get on with it. Life's too short to sit around here feeling sorry for myself. There'll be time for that when I'm officially fat from Xmas ham.

 

My partner received a gift with this weird wrapping paper. Normal little Xmas pictures, cute animals..



And then a carnivorous plant??

 

I also seem to have done a number on my back on some stage, lower left sciatic area, accute pain, the skin on hip area is numb feeling, an odd feeling, seems to be in line from where the pain radiates from. Well I hope whatever I did, it was worth it. Can't remember some things. I know there's a rock wall you need to climb over to get to the road, I think I may have tried to pull a Jackie Chan over it.
