Yeah. I don't have a lot of money right now, but If I save for a few months at a time I will be able to afford these little trips. Because you only get one life, and it's just great to be in these other countries. You get a completely different vibe which I find so interesting.

Yeah I think Iceland is in my top 5 places to visit in the next few years. Any of the Scandanavian countries, really. It would be a dream to see the northern lights

A woman who sells glass things she makes in the shop I work at just came in to bring some new things, and she gave me a soap dish for an Xmas gift : ) I only know her in a work capacity so I'm quite touched.

  5. So if you have time and will, I would be interested in reading a bit about your experience in Ljubljana....the vibe, the differences between people here and there....stuff like that.

Sure I will. I'm still processing it. I was only there for a short while but it was quite an intense hit! I have very good visual recall so it's all still very fresh to me.

  8. Yessssss.

Fjords, northern lights, the houses and architecture, scandi fashion, the nature....
    I think I'd choose Norway.

Today is our final for piano. I am playing 3 songs; all very short. It should go well.

Besides that I've finished up the Introduction to Music Technology course. I did ok, but my final project, a guitar piece that I composed, ended up being shorter than the prescribed two minute duration. I could have made it longer, but I knew the whole class was going to sit their wondering "when is this guys guitar playing going to end?!" so I made it 1:33. I still got an A in the class, but it isn't an A+. Oh well, right?

I was just reading the 1.5 billion dollar lotto ticket sold near me hasnt been claimed yet

I'm sure they're meeting with lawyers and accountants before making the claim. I know I would. Thats an obscene amount of money.

Fun fact no one cares about, it was sold at a gas station 5 minutes from my mom's house. When I was a kid it was owned by a nice man named Billy and it was just a tiny little country general store back then. We would go on saturdays to turn in glass coke bottles for $.05 a piece and then I would buy a bunch of .05 cent pieces of candy

God help me, i'm old enough to have a "back in my day things only cost a nickel" story

Then when I was a teenager everyone from high school went there because ol' Billy sold cigarettes to minors

    Reminiscing is fun

Winning the lottery must be...Incredible. But these "obscene" amounts of money just seem to make a mockery of any useful endeavour in life. I don't play because I don't want to live with that expectation and continual probable disappointment. I also think it takes a while to acclimatize to making a lot of money and I think these massive amounts blow some people's minds.

I don't think it should be allowed.
More people winning 100,000 would be better. Still life changing for most.

Someone described it as "a tax on hope that targets the poor"
    Thought that was accurate.

Just the way it made me feel hearing someone in my general vicinity won made me realize I would never want to win that much money. It would be utterly life changing and would change your relationships with people. No one would look at you the same ever again

Yes I do have this very virtuous moral voice of reason which is available to me at any time. However I am a terrible sinner and have no aspiration to Godhead. I will, however, keep you in my prayers oh wise Aerianne.
