I'm just about to write a raced recap article and then I'm going to put some thought into a league All Star race. Basically if you've won a race in any of our league series, you qualify for the main event. Pretty much like real life. Atm I can count at least 20 drivers, if only 15 show then the next 3 who finished 1,2, 3 in the lower race will move into the top race, or however many I need to do that to make at least 15. Though I don't think I'd be wrong is saying we will get close to 25. Especially if I use my own money as an incentive and offer 50 or 100US iRacing voucher.

I will also have a public vote for the track and a vote for the most popular driver not in main race to make the main race after the lower race.

This is very exciting. from what I can see, not many self funded leagues with sponsorship can pull off such an event, we would organise to have it run live on iRacingTV and I think we'd get viewers worldwide. The last time we ran a charity race and raised 750EU we had over 400 live viewers. I believe an all star event would bring in over a 1000.

Our broadcasting company would then be seen by many more, and we have a chance to sign a deal and earn money off of it. Similar broadcasting streams can make 5000-10,0000 per season (12 weeks) currently, we do it for free promoting our own brand.

 

todays ultra healthy lunch was 2 thin minute steaks and some grilled brocolli, cauliflower, carrot and capsicum (red pepper for USA) no oils and just a slight touch of chilli flakes for the veges.

I have to add music to a movie trailer in a digital audio workstation as part of my intro to music technology course and it's driving me nuts/making me nervous. The trailer we are doing as an assignment is the trailer for "Insidious".



It just feels like lots of work and not very much play; I don't know why. It's not even that hard it's just beat-mapping images to coordinate with sounds you choose from the workstation's library. It feels really technical without all the human aspects of music, but even that's not true! One of the things that makes me nervous is I get to use the synth to put in my own compositions; a few chords here and there to accentuate whatever is happening in the trailer... I can quantize (line up the notes) but my timing sucks. I'm such a beginner! That's what's happening.
