I love chutney

I looked into selling my pickles this summer but all the farmers markets around here have really ridiculous and stringent regulations, You cant can or make anything at home and sell it. You have to do it in a commercial space.

And i couldnt really see any financial benefit to renting a commercial space to sell a few cans of pickles lol

Farmers markets I find are catty. My tomatoes are better! No mine are! And this was my childhood travelling ce teal Europe with my dad and uncle going to farmers markets. I like fates and fairs because it's all crafts and home made food, like mustard! I loooove a good mustard but I've never tried to make it. So we set up a table and it was alright, I was actually sold out really quickly it was pretty cool. I didn't expect that lol. Then I go and blow my money on blue icy drinks and cotten candy sticks. fair trade.

 

I'm just looking at the reflection of the crock pot in the picture.. Nope, tits aren't hanging out. I see chopping boards only rofl.

 

I'd buy your pickles, Mel. The older I get, the more I realize just how underrated pickles are.

 

I used to do more proper cooking, but I got lazy. If I didn't have to share a kitchen I think I'd get into it again.

 

i chunked up some chicken breast fillets...then fried them up with chopped celery and spicy diced tomatoes (from a can)..let it simmer a while until the tomatoes turned saucy instead of watery

made enough for a few meals

 

Maybe i should take orders by mail next summer lol, beaurocracy cant hold me down!

I make typical vinegar pickles and also tried my hand at traditional kosher sour pickles by fermentation method, and they came out soooo good

You had me at fermentation

 

I’m worried about my business partner. We planned to meet up yesterday after work before she went out of state. She was looking forward to seeing the prototype I made for her.

Once work ended, she didn’t answer my calls or text messages with the photos of the prototype. Normally she’d have responded right away. So now I don’t know if something happened to her, and I have no way of finding out.

Last week she was physically attacked while working at her store. And had to get the police involved. So there’s a lot of hypothetical possibilities going off in my mind. None of them good.

This has not been a good week for me at all. And I hope she’s ok.

 

Scheduled 3 hour nap. I want Pete's life...

 

My miss is all dressed up. It's like 1am I tell her why you all dressed up.

Well are we not going to the all night store and picking up my plates?? I'm pretty certain that is what we had discussed -insert toe tap05-

Sure, I'll get out of this bath then. early morning stoner trips to the 24hr mart are always fun. I always end up with a ton of dog toys. I like spoiling him.

 

I went to bed around nine and woke up around eleven thirty. Nice dream though...I can't remember what.
