Speaking Of Pain......I'm No Longer On Morphine And Doctor Won't Give Me A Repeat......

Just Suggested Some Over The Counter Pain Pills That Don't Do A Bloody Thing.

I Wonder What He Would Do If I Asked For A MJ Medical Card...???... :D

    Cheers Glen.

Most days I get off work and take 3 Tylenols and 3 Advils and stretch out on the couch...it helps a (very) little. My appointment is for Monday at 8:00 am. Getting nervous to find out what the deal is.

The arthritis hurts alot and causes me to hold my breath and limp alot.

This thing in the lower back/hip I'm thinking is not arthritis but muscle/tendon junk.

It literally makes me scream out in pain if I move the wrong way. I assume that's the moment it grabs a nerve.

When the doc wants to talk about 10 out of 10 pain, 10 being the worst you can imagine, that's the pain I have there.

Morphine to OTC seems harsh. It seems like he could back you down with a weaker prescription med for pain.

Degenerated Disc disease, arthritis in 90% of my body, both knees have lateral torn meniscus, one missing cartilage, and Fibromyalgia.

    Yeah... screaming can happen.

    That pain scale from 1-10...

Well it looks like I didn’t get the job I was hellbent on getting.

Got home after a week of traveling to find a rejection letter dated 7 days old, written by the company owner

This is embarrassing, especially since I called the HR department to follow up on the application status today and earlier this week.

    Job hunting sucks.

well, hell, a lot of shit doesn't even 'touch' it, either. (rheumatoid arthritis and fibro here, since I was 13. then if I get glutened, everything else flares up too, so I'm basically a walking corpse)

when i was in the hospital in 2016, after they operated on my foot (thank you MRSA) they were like 'how's your pain?..oh it can't be that high' and I finally had to tell them 'check my fuckin chart. a GOOD day for me starts at a 7, anything below 5, I'm questioning whether I died and went to heaven. so an 8.5 is pretty damn reasonable.' 'well, why aren't you begging for painkillers?' 'because I'm a stubborn assed expillhead who doesn't want to come out of here hooked on the damn things, so I'm not gonna take one til I hit a 9.' 'What if we 'tell' you to take them.' 'I'll tell you to get fucked and check myself out.'

bastards seem to think an oxy's good for everything. and it doesn't touch the arthritis or fibro pain for me. the post op pain in my foot was the mildest I was experiencing out of the various grinding, pins and needles and stabbing pains scattered around..

Stopped at royal farms on my way home. Grab an energy drink and an alcoholic drink. (Over the previous weekend I misplaced my licence) so of course I'm carded despite being 44 with half my beard being gray. After I said I have no I'd she takes the malt beverage out of the bag and tells me the new total. (In my head I am thinking fuck you bitch, you know I'm over 21) in reality I walk out and as I'm leaving say "I don't want the rest of that if I can't have all of it".
So I go across the street to the mom and pop shop and pay an extra buck but I got my caffeine and alcohol fix.

In lighter news, I’m pet sitting my brother’s dog while he’s out of town. This dog is a blue healer pit bull mix. He will be good company to have for a week.

nah, it's not a competition. just sharing a similar experience as Tyrsonswood. and how the medical people don't really seem to give all that much of a shit.

You’ve never heard of Primal therapy i.e. the Health benefits of screaming? The Primal Scream.

It was developed way back in the 60s, but made a brief comeback in the 1980s and again in the 1990s
