    I went on a short run. Went down the river on category II rapids on a stand-up paddleboard. Amazing how difficult a category 2 rapid could be on a paddleboard rather than a raft.

    Did not buy this yet but still excited to stumble upon this book today.

    Briefly looking at the chapters and a few pages, it looks like it's a fairly encompassing account of DMT's cultural ascension.

    Of course it talks about Terence Mckenna but also features sections on Rick Strassman and his DMT studies and even Shpongle, a pioneering electronic psychedelic group who happens to be the only show that I've smoked Dmt at.

    I saw some other more obscure figures mentioned in the book who got me interested in it such as DMTurner.
