What's a good birthday gift for an 86 year old woman?

Ain't that the worst? That, or when someone microwaves something and then lets the microwave beep forever.

How about that thing when everybody is at work but the horn starts blowing on a car in the driveway until the battery wears down?

Also, I legitimately laughed out loud when I saw the butter cookie photo.

I love those cookies and I love to save the tins.

I saw a huge tin of them on sale at the drugstore but didn't get them... I regret it.

I've had recurring shoulder issues (repetitive motion stuff) for a number of years but they've been fine for a while until a little slip yesterday yanked my arm away from my body and really banged up my right shoulder again. I think it's going to be ok though. It was about a 45 minute climb and I debated whether I should keep going but I finished it.

It was kind of scary though because it hurt quite a bit when I did it. I've seen numerous guys have their careers abruptly end due to sudden injuries like this. In fact, my brother used to work with me until he had exactly the same type of injury but worse about 18 years ago. He never did our job again. If been climbing for 26 years and have been lucky so far.
