If a tyranical government tried to ensalve it's people and take away our freedoms, I would glady give my life.
Thank God for people that would defend us, complete strangers, with their lives. Firefighters, cops, lifeguards etc. It never ceases to amaze me that firefighters will rush into a burning building to save someone. Me, call me a pussy, but I'm like, "Fuck that!!" Now, if family or a good friend were in there. Or if someone I know that was incapable of getting out. (Sick, in a wheelchair, infant, whatever) I could probably do it.
I would defend anything that i think is right without hesitation, but to defend something that i have a different view on i would have to think about. Eg. Someone or something threatens your family - No hesitation But joining the army and going to war to defend a government ? - Would take thought.
Is it bad but I wouldn't give my life for anybody- including my own kids. Sorry but I have always been a selfish person and a bit of advice for you guys- put yourself first, it gets you everything you want in life.
Just a question for you all, why would you defend these things/people with your life? are there instances when you would or wouldn't?
I could never answer those questions! It's a have to be in the situation kind of thing. Nobody really knows how they would react until faced with the issue.
