I have only heard "Lifestyle Of The Rich & Famous" and another song which sounded similar on the radio but they were clearly Rock N Roll songs...is the rest of their music so much different that it's not Rock n Roll?

 

quite honestly i see no way that this band is rock........only posers
but ive got nothing against anyone else that thinks otherwise
but when i think of rock i think of the doors or some band with originality and creativity
gc to me has none of that
especially considering they were sopposed to be punk but when all the punks outcasted them now they are all of a sudden rock again
whatever .......incredibly cheesy band with 3rd grade lyrics

Market themselves? I dont recall them ever doing that! If u have a look on their video collection dvd or any magazine article they ever did they always say they dont call themseleves punk or anything else. There are other bands that have gone way to commericial like GREEN DAY! Other bands dont giva shit about their fans! no matter what u say, u cant change the way they things do or say! Jus remember that! ur bull shit comments cant do fcuk all!

 

I do not believe that people who listen to Good Charlotte deserve to continue their lives. On the quest for utopia imperfections have to be erased, and sacrifices will have to be made. Pop-punk is worse than an imperfection, it's a stillborn disfigured freak of nature.

 

GC has the musical talent of a fart. Seriously... I had the unfortunate "chance" to see a live set or song or something on tv ( i think it was live 8) and they just fucking suck... plain and simple. They are a shitty studio band who, as other people have said, market themselves as punk rock. Real punk would never go on MTV. Ever see The Exploited or Dead Kennedys on MTV? No. Real punk is anti-establishment. They may bitch about lifestyles of the rich and famous... but their fuckin hypocrites... they do the same shit. Bottom line is, GC should be lined up against a wall at times square on NYE and shot by Dick Clark in front of the whole nation.
