My fingernails grow really fast and they are really strong. l'm forever trimming them cause they get to long.. What type of Fingernails do you have?
I keep mine short. I had acryllics done once for a wedding (the bride wanted her bridesmaids to have nice nails for the wedding/pics) it was awful. My natural nails will grow up to a point before they just break......but I like them short anyway.
Chewed. I get stressed about a lot of stuff, and when I'm stressed or upset I chew my finger nails. :/ But even if I didn't chew them I'd have to keep them short to play bass.
mine are long, because i am to lazy to cut them. for luck, they grow in a nice form themselves, so i need not go to manicure...
My nails are kinda chewed, but would be short anyway. I've inherited these awful nails from the women in my mom's side of the family, where they get these deep deep ridges that makes them snap, break, or peel extremely easily. It sucks
Mine are short. I spend a lot of time with my fingers in babies mouths, and palpating womyn's breasts. You can't have long nails and do that. Occasionally, I do a home French Manicure. But usually they are just plain.
I love 'em short...I feel like I can really use my hands when they are short. My nails grow long easily, and are strong, but they just get in my way, so I keep them natural.
Mine are always short. My nails are terrible... they always crack or peel. I like to paint my nails because I love color, but polish always comes off after a day or so... so I don't really see a point of painting them very often. I did try acrylic nails once, when I went to see my fiance's family. I knew I would be showing off my ring and hands, so I wanted them to look nice. After I took them off though, my nails were 100x worse than normal, so I've never done it again. I think it is too fake.
mine are various lengths..they grow long and eventually break..and im too lazy to cut em..makes them more interesting, no?
Mine are short and at the moment, not very pretty, but a little help from a nail file would help. Oh, they look pretty enough with a coat of pale colored paint, but I have a really bad habit that keeps them short regardless. No, not biting them. I actually tear them down, cross-wise. I'll sit there when I'm stressed mainly, and pick apart my nails. Then I look down and see what a mess I've made of them. I can't stop myself, it's actually addicting. I have no clue why, but I guess it's just a bad habit, like one who bites their nails. Even when my nails DO start to grow and I refrain from tearing them down, they break after a short amount of time anyway, what with having my hands in hot water doing the never-ending dishes that accumulate, or the amount of times I wash my hands in a day ( I change diapers like there's no tomorrow ) It's okay though, I really don't mind them short, as long as they're shapely. I had my nails done years back, and they put the false ones on. After about a day, I was in agony, nt just because it was hard to do anything with long nails, but I started to have an allergic reaction to them. My nail beds actually began bleeding, and they hurt something awful. I had them taken off immediately, and have never even once thought of having them put on again. Honestly, I prefer mine on the shorter side anyway, so it's not a big deal. Peace.
I like to have long, filed, painted nails but once they get to a certain length they all seem to break at once then I have to cut them all and start the whole process all over again.
