What to do?

I am thinking of trying 'shrooms, but this would be my first time.
I dont have a credit card so I cant buy them online.
I cant grow them because I dont know shit about mycology.
And I cant go hunting for them because of the reason stated above.

I read up on erowid.org and know all about dosage, effects, etc.

The only thing I need now are the actual mushrooms.

What should i do?

 

this is everybody's problem at first. finding them for the first time is a real bitch. don't go looking online for them though especially if you are unexperienced. if you do anything else besides mushrooms ask your dealer if he can hook you up. just keep your eyes peeled, and ask people who have already tripped where they got them. just be prepared, because it is 100x more intense than you think it will be. this can be good or bad depending on how you prepare yourself. theres a sticky on this which is probably more helpful than my advice though.

 

Yeah, problem is: I dont do any other drugs and dont know anyone who does shrooms

hmm... tough one. if you've never done anything, you're in for a real surprise. I really don't know what to tell you though, because people who only deal shrooms are tough to come by. usually people get them from their bud dealer that they have built some trust with.

 

what part of the world because i know shit about shrooms and mycology[sic]but i know that if i am in a cow pasture in british columbia...those things growin out of the cow shit are shrooms....same on the east coast of canada....farmers actually charge people a fee to 'pick'....i 'heard' they are 100 an ounce right now in ontario

I know about ann arbor, but i live about 2 hours from it. I'd rather not drive that far...

what do you expect from this thread? Some one to be like 'oh hey, Ill mail you some shrooms for your first time, just send the money when you get em'? No one here can hook you up, so just ask around school, find the stoners, find the bad part of town, whatever it takes. Youll probably get ripped off the first few times, but youll gain an experience.

Out of curiosity, what got you interested in eating mushrooms? Its not very common for someone who doesnt even smoke weed to want to try them.

 

Try maybe asking someone you know that deals pot to start. Usually they have connections for other drugs or could find some. That's what I did the first time and it worked out pretty well. Magic Mushrooms are not that hard for me to get anymore.

 

i ate acid before i ever smoked pot. i was 13 on 5 hits. i had no idea a person could get so high.

i kinda feel like there are some things that nothing will really prepare you for. psychedelics are one of those things.

 

agreed. a buddy of mine tried all sorts of things with no effect until he tried acid, and after that it sort of kickstarted things for him. anyway his first real drug experience was on LSD

personally my first drug experience, before even trying other things, was actually DXM. pretty much hate the stuff now, but still - its a bit more "heavy duty" than smoking a joint.

anyway, nothing can prepare you for a fully psychedelic dose of a traditional psychedelic such as mushrooms, LSD and such.

i recommend reading up on the PF tek, and perusing the resources to be found at www.shroomery.org

if you want good mushrooms, your best bet (considering location) is to grow them yourself. it really isn't hard, just do your homework first, and postpone your adventures until you have a safe place to yourself, an apartment or something.

really, you don't have to experience them before growing them, and i think cultivation helps establish a bond between you and the mushrooms before consuming them, too. i think it adds to the experience.

i took mushrooms twice, then i decided i loved the experience but they were too expensive. so after that i just decided i'd grow mushrooms. those were good times
