HERE IS MY CURRENT LIST- feel free to add to it.

1 PEOPLE ARE REALLY INHUMAINE- it just sickens me how cruel people are and how little respect or value they have for life of animals, the environment, and other people. murder, rape, animal abuse, child abuse, spouse abuse, war, serial killers/torturers, the list goes on.

2 WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION- wow, whoever thought it was a smart move to make weapons that could potentially destroy life on this planet was pretty fucking stupid. then they have to spend even more money and risk chemical contamination of people and the environment to have them destroyed.

3 REALLY RICH PEOPLE SUCK- i HATE how multi-millionaires/ billionaires/ gazillionaires spend outrageous amounts of money every waking minute of their lives while there are people in this world that sleep on dirt, drink from the same filthy river they bathe in, are rediculously malnorished and probably have never tasted food hotter than room temperature, and this list goes on and on. 100 people could be saved from what paris hilton dropps on a prada purse. and i love it when they donate like $5,000 to charity! you call that charity?!? probably got paid $50,000 just to show up at the charity event.

4 PEOPLE WHO HAVE BABY'S AND KILL THEM OR LEAVE THEM SOMEWHERE- okay, if you are going to carry the baby for 9 months don't kill it now that it is born. FUCKING STUPID!!! DID YOU KNOW THAT IT IS PERFECTLY LEGAL TO DROP A NEWBORN OFF AT A POLICE STATION OR FIRE DEPARTMENT AND WALK AWAY, YOU DO NOT EVEN HAVE TO GIVE YOUR NAME. JUST TELL THEM THAT YOU CANNOT TAKE CARE OF THE BABY AND LEAVE!!! THEY WILL MAKE SURE THE BABY IS TAKEN CARE OF. or even better, give it up for adoption, that would be so much better than leaving it in a dumpster or drowning it in a toilet.

5 POLITICIANS/WORLD LEADERS- 99% of them have lost sight of the big picture. helping the country, listeining to the citizens, making a difference, etc. all they care about now is kissing rich people's asses so the can have the money to be elected and not do anything they promised while raising our taxes. and when we want to know the truth about what is going on, it is conveniently classified............hmmmm

 

What do you do all day?

 

I work 40 hrs a week and am a single mother, why......what does that have to do with anything?

 

Its everything. And nothing.
Realise: reality is everything. everything is nothing. and all you can do is live your life.

 

I wonder where all the oil money in the Mideast is going. That area should have the highest standard of living in the world with all that money, yet many people there are living in dirt. Then all of us stand around with our mouths hanging open wondering why some people in that area are frustrated.

The bad comes with the good. This world is definitely a mixed bag. Over the years I have personally witnessed extreme acts of cruelty and have personally witnessed extreme acts of kindness. I'm a mixed bag; I've had times were I've been an angry, violent person. The good thing is I don't like that aspect of my personality; I'm constantly striving to do better. I have faults, everyone has faults. That seems to be the deciding factor. I've had a lot of f'ed up things happen in my life, but I strive to forgive and live my life in a good way. I'm sure I'll do wrong again in the future, but I'll strive to do better. As far as people that do the absolutely horrible things in life, I try not to judge them, I judge the act. I can't absolutely know all the things in a person's life that cause them to do the f'ed up things they do in life. The only good thing I can say about the bad, it truly helps you appreciate even more what is good in life.

 

What about overpopulation? Does that piss you off? Probably not, considering you have kid.

Good rant, however if you're going to have to include all "regular/normal" americans if you look down on the rich for not sharing.

If we lowered our standard of living just a bit, the ultra poor in the rest of the world could be more comfortable. They could eat.

What many people don't understand is why there is world hunger - there are only so many resources to go around. We, the western world - especially America, Canada, and Japan, but also Europe, consume an amount of those resources disproportionate to our populations.

Leaving many in other parts of the world to starve.

Everytime that one person drives 100 miles in their civilian humvee getting 12 miles a gallon instead of a sensible car that gets 30mpg (or better yet a hybrid getting 40-50 mpg), the money, which is in essence a "work certificate" or a voucher for a certain amount of resources, that is wasted could feed a family in Africa (or the hungry in America) good low cost nutritious food for a month or even longer.

Some people in cities drive their H3 or suburban or excursion or turbo diesel truck or <insert land yaght / battle tank SUV here> 30-50 miles EACH WAY to work every day. Think about that for a minute.

Now I'm not saying that we should give everybody all our money, I'm saying we should help them to build an infrastructure that will allow them to trade for what they currently can't have, i.e. let them into our markets and PAY THEM FAIRLY. They CAN produce, we just don't let them.

We also need to stop wasting resources on extranious crap that does noone any good, such as huge vehicles that are designed to carry 1 ton + carrying a 150lb driver around town. The hit to our standard of living would come from the higher cost of things and lower profits on domestic goods. It would be VERY small.

There's room for everyone and plenty to go around. All we need to do is share.

People will try to counter the argument by saying we are also the most generous by spending the most of any country in terms of foreign aid. Seems like I've heard in sheer dollar amounts we are; but in terms of dollars as a percentage of GNP we are not. We are not the worst country, but we are not the best either.

A sidebar to the SUV rant. The government allows up to a $100,000 tax deduction to the purchase of one these monsters. The original intent was to give a tax break to the larger work vehicles used for the conduct of business. Recreational users now take advantage of this loophole and the government has done nothing to close it.

 

So when you think about it, genocidal dictators are making the world a better place.

 

McDonalds throws away enough food every day to feed most of the third world.

it pisses me off more to see people with have kids and don't take care of them or abuse them. have as many as you like as long as you are going to step up and love and raise the children you help create. quality over quanity.

overpopulation is a problem, especially when people kill thier female babies to have a male. and i beleive people have babies they have no intention of caring for properly. but if all the children that are born are taken care of, well, i don't see any problem

 

Giving you're baby a quality life has nothing to do with overpopulation. I'm not sure if people don't have the brains to make a plan, or the balls to follow through with it, but the problem of overpopulation seems easily remedied by well you know. not pumping out any kids

Man, I totally feel what you are saying about people not taking care of their children. Just the other day I was at the store and I saw this lady hit her daughter (who couldnt have been more than 3) so hard that she fell to the floor. I wanted so badly to just pick the little one up and take her home with me. I cant understand how someone could possibly strike their child so maliciously. I mean, thats a being that is a part of you...we're all a part of each other, and yet people continue to be cold and heartless to others. And to do so to a child...it just breaks my heart.

 

ok well you just let me know what the maximum seating capacity of earth is, then we will see if it is overpopulated, lol

or if its such a problem, you could move to another planet, lol
