I had max-ex on in the background (it's like ripley's believe it or not, but much stupider, if you dont know what it is)

They had this guy who, in his restaurant, nets a fish out of the tank, shaves its scales off, cuts it open and guts it, the fish is alive during all of this, he fries the bottom half in boiling oil with a cloth wrapped around its head, still alive, pours his "special sauce" on it, and serves it. The fish is still fucking ALIVE while people tear its flesh off and eat it



I don't understand how that isn't fucking animal abuse

yeah, i don't understand how it's still alive..... no insides, and cooked at that.

 

i dont know, but it showed the whole thing, the fish was obviously alive while the people were eating it

perhaps the autonomic imulpulsis in a fish are more advanced than a humans, i have noticed serious trade offs in every creature on the planet.

we and the dolphines have intelligence,
we are probably one of the more blind(sensewise) creatures on the planet. other species have sonar, infrared, sharks have a electromagnetic sense. dogs have keen smelling abilities. maybe the fishes nervous system is more advanced in some respects than our own.

in any case, whether or not the fish is really alive or dead, it is disgusting and i can't imagine anyone who would conceive of ordering something like that.

 

actually we are cursed and blessed,
if a human neocortex is destroyed we go into a vegitative state, for a fish the neocortex is almost irrelevant. thier brains are so simple regardless of neocortex failure, they have the same behavior.

eating fish is bad regardless of whether its dead or alive...it was alive at SOME point, so you shouldnt want to eat it either way

 

but everything you eat was alive at some point! how do you answer to that?
