The North Korean leader is threatening nuclear war. Seal team six took out Bin Laden, who didn't even have nukes. Nixon had the CIA take out the president of Chile just for being a leftist.
So what's the plan for this moron threatening nuclear war? If the U.S. does nothing, won't it be a green light for Iran, Syria, or even China? Will Kim be made an example of?
What is the best way to take him out? How about a $100 million bounty for his head? Poison? How many days do you think he has left on earth?

  2. Well,I was kinda worried but yesterday I watched an interview with some south korean people and they really are not that concerned. To them it's "we've heard it all before" In other words rhetorical bullshit. He is just declaring war on his southern compatriots so why would the US want to flex it's muscles yet again?

For the same reason that any time some nut job threatens the POTUS, they are taken out...well, locked up. If Kim is allowed to make nuke threats, then every other nut job will try something. Bin Laden was made an example of, not because he was that much of a threat, but to show other crazies that making threats is bad for your health.

Imagine how many lives and money would have been saved, had Hitler been taken out in 1933.

Ignore his military threats, which are hot air,and try not to be provoked.Taking him out would be completely the wrong move, although I realize he appears to be an odious little sod.Try to establish dialogue and make North Korea feel less insecure and isolated.I believe that is the root of their problem.Try to bring them in to the international community. At the moment his threats are largely made to garner support from his own people, and to justify huge spending on the military.

I feel the correct response is sticks and stones. But, at the slightest military move, I'd bomb the motherfucker out of existence even if I also had to go.

It's too easy to bully someone who's scared to death.

    ------------

Edit: On a side note, I'd also lift the embargo. But the two things are separate in my mind.

No need for an aggressive approach at this moment. I agree largely with Fairlight. Only an overly scared moron would react with an attack.

De-pant him on world wide TV... Nobody will ever take him seriously after that embarrassment.

    as far as i know

it's just empty rhetoric, its been said hundreds of times before, he's just saying it again to throw his dick around to prove hes just as big a man as his dad was, and we're taking it more seriously simply because kim jong il's death put korea back in the news again and reminded us how mental it all was.

the US doesn't need to intervene or even threaten them all that much, that'll just piss 'em off more. NK know they can make empty threats because they have total media control and isolation (so they can pretend that SK are shitting themselves when they aren't) and because China back them, if they raise too much a stink China'll tell 'em to calm the fuck down, NK's their problem, not ours.

he might be a crazy fucker, but he's not so much of a crazy fucker that he doesn't realise his state is entirely reliant on China's support.

I think he's just a front for the military establishment. They've been running the place for decades and he's just a hapless little boy that thinks he's in charge. From what I understand, their "education system" has taught and still teaches children to believe america is a mortal enemy, as soon as they can understand language. I don't pretend to understand why NK doesn't want to lighten up and join with SK to enter the present.

We(US) have a pretty poor record of treating other countries as if we run the world and whatever we declare to be true ,is so.

That insane kid is making noise , keeping his generals bussy for a war they will probly never fight . If his generals had some free time they find ways to take him out .

All speculations. I have the suspicion some of you know just as much with certainty about the 'kid' as the rest of us. But you do bring your speculations as if you are entirely sure what kind of person he is though.

The last time we got into it with North Korea, it ended in a draw. Lots died. It's been a Mexican standoff for over sixty years. There are plenty of ways to take Kim out without it coming to nuclear war. My guess is, the North Koreans are really tired of starving and living the concentration camp life style. Even some of the military would like to get rid of him, to ease the possibility of them being nuked. A $100 million bounty on Kim's head would probably end his life in less than a week by his own military. The bounty would probably inspire lots of South Koreans to get the job done. I'll be surprised if Kim is still alive this time next year.

When he threatens to nuke the U.S., I think it kinda makes it our business.

Oh, so wait till he drops one, then we turn his country into glass. What the hell, it's only a few million dead, right?

The problem is, with the north korean brainwashing cult of personality, there can't very well be a coup. The kid probably doesn't really have much control, I have a feeling his dad had the big dick and really did run the show, but look at the little turd.... he's just a figurehead. He doesn't know it, and he's been brainwashed to do exactly what they want of him, but he's not REALLY about to do anything without his generals go-ahead, or putting it before him.

They're still at war, they've been at war, they really can't do shit, and china won't let it escalate too far. Eventually, in exchange for not crashing the US economy with the debt they own, and in exchange for hanging NK out to dry, we're going to hang taiwan out to dry.
