what r u making RIGHT NOW?

atm I'm crocheting a purse.... I'll try to post a pic of it in here... I'm making it out of Lime Berry coloured yarn (how pretty does that sound?) and round plastic bamboo handles.... I think it'll look a little islandy-retro....

 

I'm kind of making a necklace, but I think I screwed it up, and wasted the majority of my suplies...

 

that sux... oh well, trial by error... it's the best way to create a masterpeice!

 

Im not actually making it RIGHT at this moment, but the project I'm in the middle of right now is putting some patchy sides in a pair of old brown cords I got at a thrift store. I got on side done the other night, I had to work yesterday and today, but this evening I will be getting back on to my project.

Also, I'm planning on setting up a booth in town at the "Arts by the Sea" Festival they are having here in June, So i have to gear on my creative helmet, and get to sewing a bunch of stuff for that! If you guy's have any ideas on some fast, simple, but nice thing's I could make for that, that would be great. Coz I'm going to need quite a few thing's in order to set up a booth. So far I'm planning on making the simple, 'can never go wrong' apron tops with different designs and appliques, and I'll be doing lotof different types of bags, and purses. And some hemp jewelry.
But i'm really excited about getting ready for that. It's gonna be alot of fun

 

I'm Making a Skirt out of an old pair of jeans and some fabric and a bag from som fabric samples I got for free

 

A dress.. Its awsome looking the fabric looks like a kalidoscope. . . Its gonna look great when im done

 

ive just got a job making clothes for a company called RedMutha in brighton where i live, they sent clothes all ovr england to shops they give you a bag of clothes from jumble sales (like yard sales or what ever they are called in us ) and a bag of off cuttings and crazy bits and bobs like flies from jeans and bits of bed sheet and tell you to do what you want with them.

right this second i have a stitch ripper in my mouth and im making a red strapless top from an old tshirt with some applique of scraps

 

i'm making a mobile to hang in my window...with silver (not real, of course) wire, beads, glass pebbles, and maybe some abstract pics...i'm also working on a mobile for a friend that's gonna be made of wire and origami cranes, i think...

 

i've been crocheting the same scarf for about a month - should be done by summer lol.

i'm getting ready to make more dread soap that i have been trying to get to since september. i've worked on the recipe a little bit, and within a few weeks i hope to be able to contact all the people who've been waiting so patiently for it.


i've been playing around with some new candle waxes.

that's about it.

 

I am knitting myself a cardigan sweater out of super chunky yarn. I am also working on a dress. I like to jump from project to project.

 

I'm making some rosemary soap right now. Have got some crocheted and knitted hats and backpacks in the works, too. Trying to get it all finished for the weekend flea market.

I know it is a simple site, but If we get an idea, often we can embellish, and come up with ideas of our own. I am making a mobile to catch the slightest breeze, and I am using candy wrappers with plastic beads hanging down to catch the light. Sometimes I just need a kindergarten state of mind.....

 

I'm making a bong cabinet. My parents gave me their old kitchen cabinets when they rennovated their kitchen. With the shelving taken out, my bong fits perfectly into the cabinet. So I'm currently in the processing of demolishing most of my high times issues, cutting out beautiful nuggy pics and pasting them, collage-style, all over the sides, front, and insides. When its all done I'm going to spray a clear glossy protectant over the whole thing. oh and im going to attach a latch or something to the door so that my kitties can't get inside the cabinet.

if someone could tell me how to put pictures into a post, i will take pictures of the cabinet and post them

 

I;m working on two new wraps although I'm set back because of waiting for supplies in the mail. One of the wraps is almost done though.

well lets see... im knitting a neat scarf, i started it at christmas, and im still working on it, but ive JUST LEARNED how to do it, so im really slow.. and its ugly, all uneven and stoof, but im gunna keep it, and show it to my kids.. they'll love that their mom cant knit well! lol im also making a few hemp necklaces for friends....

im also painting on the screen of my windows in my room with colored nail polish, it makes it pretty, one window that has a full abstract design on it, and the other im still working on, but has some spiraly designs on the four corners.. i may just leave it like that, or add some more.. i dont really know

 

Notn a damn thing and for once It is nice. It seems I am always being rushed to make something. SO it is nice to just be sketching right now. soon I will be sewing agian

i've had a felted clog on my knitting needles for a couple of weeks. havent been feeling really very craftily inspired lately. ::sigh::

 

I am making my first apron dress. It is a pannel dress using 2 purpley shades of grey and black coruroy for the bodice. I am going to put Dead Bear patches around the bottom and on the pockets if it turns out ok. It is my first experience with patterning something from scratch, and my second sewing experience. My first was a camouflage corset that turned out great.
