Reading through the politics section of this forum, I've noticed a wide range of political opinions, and I just want to see what the political dynamics of this forum are.

Paraphrasing Groucho Marx: "I would never join a Political Party that would have me as a member."

    Google

The more interesting and important question is not who but why?

Agreed. I'm registered Democrat and my wife is Independent (I'm thinking of going that way myself), but I voted Green in the first Bush election, and Democrat in the second out of desperation to get Bush out of office. I was disappointed Dean or Krucinich didn't get a shot at it.

It's sad that the system has become so blatantly bi-partisan, and the candidates we're presented with are laughable. It's more about who has the financial backing from the big Corporations and the media exposure than whose policies will benefit us most as a people. We could definitely use some electoral reform.

I would vote green, but in VA you gotta vote Dem to counter out the Reps.

My parents are registered democrats, voted nader in 2000, kerry in 2004 (It was Kerry or nothing... at least someone who could communicate well with the public.) They were hoping that Dean or Kucinich would make it.

Ha! I am the only one who chose "Republican" out of 21 people so far. That's slightly less than 5% so far.

I am surprised, as I thought there would be a little more diversity, but maybe some registered Republicans are a hidin'. ;)

I'm independent... the Green party is cool, and I'm a huge fan of Nader! ^^
Politically I'm a very liberal socialist.

Im not from the U$, but im probably more leftward than any of these parties. Isn't there a communist party in america led by a bob avikan? Im not terribly knowledgable on them.

Political parties are for suckers. You can't be free-minded if you choose to confine yourself within the rigid confines of a political party. I am an Independent all the way.
