not just *eww*..much closer to raaalph I got a couple.. veggie foods in a can that appear to be like meat but are made of vegetable...the texture of that stuff triggers my gag reflex..it is gross.. and buttermilk, I can't even smell it without gagging..
i hated creamed corn when i was preggo. the smell killed me and i did puke. The site of it was very disheartening as well.
i almost puked when i tried hummus, but i already felt shitty to begin with, so i doubt that it's quite that nauseating normally.
they're the devils food. actually, when i was a very small child, i apparently loved eggs. but as a small kid i also ate lots of poisonous things around the house i shouldnt have (my earliest memory is having a tube shoved down my throat to have my stomach pumped when i was two. i had eaten a ten day supply of my fathers muscle relaxant...the hospital called in a priest without telling my folks -who aren't catholic- because they were so sure i was a goner) usually things like watercolors. house plants. soap. all sorts of nasty things. i dont know how i managed to do it. but my mom would discover i'd gotten into something and call the doctor, and apparently most of the time he instructed her to induce vomitting by feeding me raw eggs, so i figure its some deeply engrained response to that. but i can't fucking STAND eggs, or even smelling them or being around people who are eating them. my only exception is if they're in cooking, like in cookies or cake. but the eggiest thing i can bear to eat is french toast.
one of my favorite foods, but a negative association like that could make it a persistent problem i bet
Definitely eggs. Ugh. If I really HAVE to eat them, I eat them with ketchup. Cause ketchup kills the taste of eggs. Brrrrrrr eggs.....
