That run from 8.16.04 to 8.19.04 was truly spectacular, capped by the 8.19.04 Piper. That was the Phish I loved -- almost over-the-top, but still wild and exploratory. The Taste was sweet.

Listening to "Lizards" from Sacramento, 93.

lord i can seee the blues

lol, even though it's the GD and phish forum, I listen to GD religiously, I download a few shows a day usually, I have like kicks for certain bands, I will listen to them a lot for a certain period of time. I was big into hendrix before GD and haven't really had a hendrix kick in a while. I wanna feel some of his blues.

PlayDead13, I hate to come down on you but, the Rebel Flag in the Face is kind of weird. i mean the Rebel flag? you might as well put a swastika in there. I'm not claiming your racist, you should just think about what that really represents. a bunch of southern-white-pro-slavery-racists.

Solla. .Sollew, you are free to your opinion, but you may want to due some research on the subject before you label the symbol as only belonging to “a bunch of southern-white-pro-slavery-racists”. The flag in my signature was not the official flag of the confederacy, but a battle flag of the confederate soldier. The flag features the cross of St. Andrew, the patron Saint of Scotland who, by the way, was crucified on an “X” shaped cross. In the event that you seek personal edification, the “Southern Cross” signifies honor and victory.

Do you honestly think that everyone who fights under a particular flag subscribes to their governments political agenda word for word? Let’s take America’s current flag; using your logic every singly person in the United States military are a bunch of evil American-anti-Islamic-racists? I would disagree and say the service men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan are simply following orders and may, or may not, think having a military presence in those countries is right, yet they fight with honor in search of victory.

It’s interesting that you bring up the Swastika, much like the Southern Cross it’s meaning has been altered over time to be associated with hate. The Swastika was originally a holy symbol used in Buddhism, Hinduism, and some other religions that escape me.
