And who makes it? I'm on the hunt for some new candles. I have 6 candles burning right now and one on the electric warmer. I love candles.
I've always like Apple Pie or Banana Nut Bread scented Candles - I've seen them from several companies
It is not uncommon for me to drop $500 on yankee candles in one store. I don't do this often, but I stock up when I do. I love the apple scents, the lemongrass, Pineapple, carribean fruit, I love any fruit smells. The blueberry muffin... But my all time favorite? Berry Basket - by Kirkland's. I can't find this anymore, and I absolutely LOVE it.
I love Banana Nut Bread. I normally buy that in the fall. For some reason that warms up the beginning of a new season leading into the Holiday's. Maybe I'll try that now. The smell of it also makes me want to bake goodies.
I just finished one by Yankee Candle called Autum Wreath. It smelled awesome. Did you try looking on Ebay or the internet for the Berry Basket? Sometimes that is how I find something that a store no longer carries.
I think I might be the only person on the planet that like's Yankee's Green Grass candle. I love the smell of fresh cut grass...
I used to get the Banana Nut ones all the time when I lived in WV - think the company was called Blue Mountain Candles Has anyone ever been to the Yankee Candle factory in Deerfield, Mass? You can smell the place literally a mile away somedays
Hacker I don't know if you did this already but if you sign up with Yankee Candle to be on their mailing list they will send you coupons periodically. I just used one buy 2 candles get one free. Sometimes it's buy one get one free. Great deals if you like Yankee Candles.
Yep, I can't find it anywhere. I have one tiny jar left. I even have the serial number, the upc, the flavor, company... and I can't find it anywhere.
I went there 3 years ago. On our way we went to Magic Wings. There were over thousands of Butterflies. We also stopped at a Dinosaur Historic Site that was up the street from there. I could easily spend a fortune in that place.
I know... I am no longer allowed to go to any hallmark stores when my wife goes there. Without fail, I will walk out with an arm full of candles. BTW - I tried out Madarin Cranberry... ok it smells wonderful, but when lit it doesn't give off the smell much at all. Disappointing. Just FYI because it smelled incredible in the store. Candle tips... I think I need to get out more.
The day I drop 500 on some candles is the day I need to be put in an institution. You know how much liver damage I can do with that money?
Ah but I don't drink. So my drinking money is available for other mindless spending. Essentially I am burning my money away instead of drinking it away. Oh well.
Do you like incense too? My favorite lately is Nag Champa. Here is a candle tip. Keep your wicks to a minimum. I trim my wciks every time before I light them. I'm too afraid of fires.
